Galian Hotel in Odessa

There is dust all around the room for several days. They are not preparing for guests to check in. The hotel itself is a tsar-extension to a high-rise building of an incomprehensible shape. The interior is stuck in the early 2000s. Everything is pretty shabby. There is a bad taste all around. It seems like they built and decorated it from whatever was available. It is not cozy. The room has strange smells from the kitchen, bathhouse and cheap cologne. Dust all around. In the toilet, water flows very loudly through the sewer riser. There is fungus in the shower. This is not about rest and sleep. The hotel is located in the courtyard of high-rise buildings. There is noise and commotion on the street. At night, the landline phone speaker suddenly turned on a couple of times. The TV went silent. When I pointed it out, they said that their technician had gone home for a few days. I was never able to use the Internet because it simply wasn’t there.

The hotel is located in a service station building, so it's always noisy. The breakfasts leave much to be desired. The rooms are old, and the showers leak. The furniture isn't exactly new.

Everything they say in their advertisment is true, but here is what they won't tell you:
- AC unit won't let you sleep in a night (did I mentioned the AC unit is not connected to your room?),
- there is only one place in an entire room where you can charge your phone - your phone will be hanging by the charging cable over the toilet 🚽
- the staff is good, nice and competent, but very slow, I mean veeeeery slow,
- hotel location is in a very unpleasant district, where is nothing to see, about 5km from a beach,
- bathroom's light's switch is behind the bathroom's door, you need to exit bathroom, close the door and then you can look for the right light's switch... this is not a joke,
- coffee is not included in a breakfast... You need to pay for it... and a bacon in an American Breakfast... it is a size of a one dollar coin, this is all the bacon you will get...
Sorry, but for the price I paid I've expected my phone to be charged and to sleep in a night.
