The Grand Brighton, Brighton1 / 30

Brighton, 97-99 King's Road (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I recently stayed at this hotel to celebrate my 40th birthday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made me feel very welcome, and the check-in team kindly offered complimentary drinks for my son and me. I was delighted to find a bottle of red wine and a lovely birthday card waiting in the room, which made the celebration extra special. The room was beautiful with a...
Stayed here on numerous occasions and it is called the Grand for a reason.. Rooms are stunning and the service is great too but it’s the location of the hotel itself..
Perfect hotel! My room on the 7th floor was spacious with modern amenities. It had three windows facing the sea, ideal for anyone who loves just staying in and gazing at the ocean (like me, haha). Breakfast was a standard English breakfast; I recommend trying the omelets. The staff were very welcoming, always greeting guests and offering help. On check-in day, it was raining, so I asked to check in...
Very impressed by all the staff at the Grand - fthe consieriege, receptionists, bar and restaurant staff. The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Would certainly recommend
The room is fully equipped, comfortable, cozy, and luxurious, with excellent cleanliness. Snacks are well-stocked, and it offers a great sea view. Breakfast is rich and varied, with plenty of choices.
The sea view from the room was magnificent, though the isolation from wind and sounds not the best. The pillows can be improved. The staff were the best, very professional and friendly. We enjoyed our stay, I would definitely come back.

We stayed for a night and we got a very good costumer service from Eric at the reception.
Everything was perfect except the check-in time. 4 pm, even if it’s written in the ad, is NOT acceptable. Everybody should refuse that. It’s too late. No hotel in the world should allow you to check in so late.
Good location Lovely hotel We had a queen size room which was cozy but big enough Decorated lovely Didn’t seem to hear much noise during the night Downsides -No mini fridge in room -Only one towel hook in bathroom for wet towels -Only seemed to be shared changing areas for swimming pool -one for males one for females- I feel a couple of private changing rooms could be added for privacy
The most uncomfortable sleep of my entire life, the mattress caused me back pain
The room was modern and clean and the staff were friendly but the best bit about this hotel is the location - on the seafront and close to shops bars and restaurants. The spa area was a bit disappointing, it’s more a leisure centre and very busy when we visited so don’t expect too much relaxation as there are not even loungers to sit/lie on. We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as there are many great...
Absolutely amazing hotel and staff, could not fault at all! It was mums 60th birthday who I came with and the staff had sorted 2 drinks vouchers to use in the bar and we came back into the room with a slice of cake with a birthday note! Honestly so perfect and it being right on the seafront is stunning too :)

Service was superb, staff extremely helpful and accommodating. Very close to station and plenty of shops around for food and amenities, abit of a walk to the seafront and attractions but overall, good location. Highly recommended!
Good location, very close to Brighton Station. Breakfast is good
A lovely clean hotel with great amenities, ideal location for travelling being close to the station. The staff were wonderful, so helpful at all times. A lovely stay and we will be back!
Really lovely stay, they checked us in a little early and helped with a delivery which was so useful. The room was really nice, comfortable beds. We even had a warm welcome from one of the locals when we got to the room 😉 Location very convenient but you don’t notice any notice from the station. Easy to walk to all the main spots
Comfortable stay. Reception was helpful and breakfast was amazing. suitable for families.
We stayed for 4 night to watch the football! We always have a brilliant time, it’s the perfect location as you are 2 minutes near the train station! Rooms are lovely & staff are lovely too!

I really enjoyed my stay and the hotel was in very good location , hotel was lovely and the massive selling point is the pool and spa , excellent facilities and friendly staff Only downside was the breakfast didn’t provide many vegan or allergen friendly items and that the heating wasn’t very regulated and felt a little ill front being too overheated in the room and no ventilation That being said...
Breakfast was AMAZING , room was super clean and tidy only thing is the window doesn’t open.
Overall, it's a very new hotel, and it even has a sauna and a pool. They're a bit small, but perfect for a quick dip or relaxation.
Great hotel at a convenient location. Rooms were big, comfortable and clean and staff were friendly.
Hotel is nice however rooms could be cleaner, smell wasn’t great in room. Cost of parking is outrageous so won’t be staying again unfortunately.
This hotel was by far the most disappointing during my trip around London. I specifically requested a quiet room when booking, but they still gave me one on the top floor, right under the air conditioning units. The noise was very loud and disturbed my sleep. On top of that, the hotel staff had a terrible attitude – unhelpful, unenthusiastic, and didn't try to solve any problems. I have to give a bad...

Paid too much for hotel. I stayed for two days with my girl friend I paid 190£ . Old rooms , no heater , no view from room . I dont recommend in winter because no heaters in the hotel .
Last minute visit to Brighton & needed an overnight stay. The Holiday Inn is ideal as it is in a great location overlooking the beach and walking distance to shops & restaurants. There is parking available under the hotel which is also a must as parking is scarce in Brighton. Staff are friendly & helpful. My room was clean & my bed was very comfortable. On this occasion I didn't have breakfast but...
Very nice clean quite hotel just by the sea with lots of shops and a small walk to the centre
The hotel is in good location. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is nice.
The hotels in a good location on the seafront, it was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Room was good for the price, nothing exciting but perfectly fine for us.
We had a very pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Brighton. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, and housekeeping refreshed it every day, which we really appreciated. The service was outstanding — the staff genuinely make an effort to ensure their guests are comfortable and well looked after. We had a small request regarding the kettle in our room, as the original one had a bit of limescale build...

Broken hydropool - so not best value for money. And sauna slots with limited time. But it was romantic place though.
Lovely staff and brilliant services. Good location to travel in Brighton.
Was nice ! good location great facilities
If we book direct to the harbor hotel's website, we can get a free entry to the spa, but since we booked in trip. com, we were charged £10 each by the hotel. Why don't the trip. com make it free for us to use the hotel's spa?
Brighton is a beautiful coastal city with clear water and friendly local residents. Unfortunately, I didn't choose the right hotel this time. The service was cold and the room was very small! The facilities were old! The elevator could only accommodate 2-3 people. The price-performance ratio was too low. If I go to this city again, I will definitely stay at a chain hotel by the sea, which has guaranteed...

Nice hotel in a good location. Great for free parking which is very rare to find in Brighton. £13 for an Uber into town or a nice 30 minute walk along the seafront. Would definitely stay again.
We had a lovely stay, starting with a warm welcome from the young lady at the desk. We decided to get sandwiches from the bar menu for a late lunch which were really tasty, reasonably priced and of generous size. We had a large, comfortable, quiet room, which meant we slept really well. Overall, another perfect stay. Thank you Malmaison.
The room was spotless and very comfortable . The restaurant was excellent and the staff very helpful
Everything at this hotel was top class!
Evening meal (Lamb shank bhuna) was catastrophic 😣
The room was spacious, and they even gave us a £15 voucher that could be used at their bar if we didn't need cleaning done during the break.

We got upgraded to a better room for 15£ upon arrival, service is amazing and the room was very clean
Stay was lovely until I got talked to rudely and dismissively by the barman. Spoiled a lovely stay. Rest of staff were very nice, esp reception.
First room we were allocated was freezing and had only 2 small plug in radiators for us to try and warm the room up. However the receptionist kindly found us another room of the same standard but which was far nicer (& warmer)!
Fantastic Staff Team. They went our of their way to ensure they were able to provide one of our small requests, All done with a Smile. We cant thank them enough. Clean rooms, comfy beds. Cosy Lovely Vibe.
Very comfortable room and bed. Bright green light on all night and no water in the room only things that were missing.
The room was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were particularly friendly. I would recommend to friends and family.

Excellent. Exceeded expectations. Friendly staff. Great cocktails! Loved it!
A great stay at one of our favourite hotels in Brighton. Staff are so friendly helpful and welcoming. Nice touches like curly wurly chocolate with the tea and cofffee and very quirky and unusual. Great location too.
First, and foremost, the staff are exceptional, as they can often make or break a stay. The hotel is very nice. We stayed in Room 8, the “Pin-Up” room and had an ocean view. It was nicely sized, comfortable, and clean. Nice down comforter and pillows. Breakfast is wonderful … lots of options. It’s on our “stay again” list.
Fantastic hotel central location with quirky rooms to make the weekend awesome We stayed in the best room with a double bath and huge bed. And a cheeky ******** pole ;)
A real gem What a wonderful eclectic hotel with a strong punk/ sex positive vibe. If you are looking for a 'normal' experience don't go. If you want something truly special where every item of decoration feels perfect in place. Where the staff are genuinely friendly and warm and treat you truly as guests I could not recommend more strongly.
Very unique! Great hotel, great room, lovely staff, fab breakfast and amazing cocktails. Would definitely come back here.

Great place! We loved it .... highly recommended. Very nice location and very comfortable bed ......
We had an excellent stay at Sea Spray Hotel. The room was comfortable and well set up, with everything we needed. It was a particularly cold period while we were there, and although the radiator was on, it did switch off during the evening. We called the night porter, who was very kind and helpful and turned the heating back on straight away. We also discovered there was an electric blanket, which...
I couldn't get a room at the Ocean Wave Hotel without any explanation. The hotel owner temporarily moved me to a neighboring hotel, which was in a basement. It wasn't very convenient to carry my luggage down the stairs. There were no windows, so the ventilation and lighting were poor.
Room was spacious, bed was super comfy, street was quiet. There are very few things I could mention as everything was really good. I decided not to drive and took the train. Glad I did - traffic and parking in Brighton is a nightmare. Would be happy to book again if I come to Brighton.
We stayed in a family room from October 1st to 7th, 2025. The view was stunning, and there were plenty of supermarkets nearby, with easy access to public transportation. We arrived in the morning, and although it wasn't our check-in time, the hotel had a room available. The room was small but beautifully decorated, especially the bathroom, which was exceptionally clean and bright, with no mold at all...

Absolutely stunning room! Had the most amazing view of both sunrise and sunset.
Such a lovely hotel! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Room was spotless and very cute! It had everything you needed and was just genuinely lovely.
Room was quirky but great view and very comfortable. Do not bother getting breakfast. It took 50 mts for toast and one hour for bacon & eggs. Not busy enough to warrant this. Other people were waiting over an hour. When this was mentioned at reception. Their response was it’s not our company!
Beautiful space, excellent location, lovely staff! Perfect combination! Will visit again!
Enjoyed our brief stay, it was convenient gave us access to good restaurants, a pleasant walk along the sea front. Convenient also for our meeting the next day.
Convenient Hotel was only about a 10 minute walk away from The Brighton Centre which is why we stayed here. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. However, room 6 does not have a city view. It does not have any view!!!

Absolutely raved over the quirky, stylish, imaginative & original concept at this Guesthouse in Kemptown, Brighton. Everything about this venture drips quality and care in providing accommodation in Brighton. Each room is different, pictures, adverts from the late '50s, old style (not working) telephone hanging in our room (number 7) LOVED IT!!!
A friend and I stayed in rooms 2 & 6. We both loved the funky retro decor. Rooms very clean. Tony the owner is really friendly and helpful. Got parked a street away no problem with a permit from Tony, £10 for 24hrs - in Brighton that's good!! Would definitely stay again here!
This was about my tenth stay at Snooze which says it all! The coolest decor, a comfy, large bed and thoughtful touches. Friendly and helpful hosts and it’s sparkling clean too. I cannot recommend it enough.
Our 2nd stay at snooze and we had a lovely stay. We love kemptown and snooze is just the best hotel. The rooms are so well designed and to such a high spec! We stayed in room 1 this time and it was spotless and the bed was super comfy, the room lovely and warm as was a chilly windy day in December! Lots of extra touches and the hosts are so welcoming and can’t do enough for you. Highly recommend...

Great place to stay - try to get a parking space at Buzz Bingo as soon as so close and cost effective
Compact but well equipped room in a quiet but accessible location. Close to the seafront, cafes and bars. Comfortable bed and great wet room. Good value and easy, trouble free check-in.
Excellent, couldn’t fault it. Loved the underfloor heating. Great shower.
Lovely boutique hotel. Good access to the beach and lanes. The thermostat in the room doesn't work and the room was very hot
The location is fab. Close to shops & restaurants. Close to the hospital which is what our stay was for. Lovely, comfortable room. Easy access. Was also a very good price for a one night stay. Despite being close to everything it was very quiet at night. Would recommend 👌
Excellent accommodation. Compact room but brilliant use of space to provide needed facilities for a very pleasant stay. Comfortable and clean. Location is idle, loads of eating places nearby. Would highly recommend

Excellent place with few recommendations (for which I kept a star myself) It is absolutely at a great location for which it's occupancy is almost always full. It's four star BnB guest house/hotel. The rooms are exactly for TWO adults. It has a nice small bathroom with all necessary hardwares(no comments)with enough towels and the usual tineast toilet shop! The floors of the bathroom are bit noisy...
Its ok, but they do not have parking as advertised
Great location, reasonable pricing and very friendly, professional staff. Best choice if you're looking to visit Brighton and want to be looked after and not break the bank. The staff were even so kind as to offer me paracetamol and didn't bat an eye when I threw up all over the room! (Top tip: Avoid 'Daily Catch', the nearest chippie - I'm still feeling queezy after getting it all out of me this morning...
