Nice hotel in a good location. Great for free parking which is very rare to find in Brighton. £13 for an Uber into town or a nice 30 minute walk along the seafront. Would definitely stay again.

We had a lovely stay, starting with a warm welcome from the young lady at the desk. We decided to get sandwiches from the bar menu for a late lunch which were really tasty, reasonably priced and of generous size. We had a large, comfortable, quiet room, which meant we slept really well. Overall, another perfect stay. Thank you Malmaison.

The room was spacious, and they even gave us a £15 voucher that could be used at their bar if we didn't need cleaning done during the break.

If you drive, it is a suitable hotel with large rooms and bathrooms, clean and tidy. Breakfast is also good, semi-self-service, and you need to leave enough time if you are in a hurry. It is located in a seaside complex east of Brighton, with free parking. It is an hour's drive from the Seven Sisters seaside and 2 hours' drive from Heathrow Airport. The Royal Pavilion in the city center is worth seeing.

Food- i think i can do better in my own kitchen. tastes reheated and undercooked too. had an octopus dish , what a con it was( there was more potatoes and hardly any octopus). my dad cooks octopus and believe me you can see it and know you are eating octopus. a lot of lettuce leaves and no meat on the dishes. we all know lettuce is cheap. this place is a con and having been to another tapas restaurant in the lanes .. i say don't even think of going to El patio if you want to good edible food. it has to be the worst place i have dined at in brighton. pity as it has such a great location.

Fantastic family friendly restaurant! Team very engaging and polite and couldn’t fault my waitress! Beef Pulled Chilli is to die for and by far my favourite new meal!

Not bad food here. Server was very attentive but service was so slow that I thought the food would never come at 1 point. When the food finally came (after nearly 1h) it was a mixed blessing. The ribs were falling off the bone and well sauced but they were put on top of the fries which meant the fries were wrecked and tasted like mush. The slaw was nothing special but well balanced on the palate while the corn was passable. And the desserts didn't arrive at same time (rookie error) but were up to scratch. Had the ribs been placed next the fries (and not on top of them) the rating would be a star higher. Most of the mistakes were avoidable. Those fries also needed a few extra minutes in the fryer (this along with the wait nearly cost a star). The ribs are worth recommending. Overall not a bad meal but basic things need to improve

Wonderful staff. Very, very obliging ... went out their way to make me feel relaxed.
I was dining alone and they made me feel at ease which doesn't happen everywhere I go.

This place completely ruined my date and left me crying. I only came here because I had coupons. It took 45 min for some mozzarella sticks to come. Granted the manager was nice and gave them for free to us. At that point I was so hungry they were the best thing in the world. Mains came 30 minutes after. Food was BLAND AS HELL and not seasoned. The person I came with ate his steak and chicken breast cause he was starving after a day of work. I ate one of my chicken breasts, tried his food and just couldn't eat anymore. We got a 40% discount cause we complained but that wasn't compatible with our coupon so we ended up paying more this way. I'm currently in Wetherspoon getting drunk on two pitchers with my date to forget dinner at their place ever happened.

Just left this restaurant, food expensive, waited 1 hour for starters, staff member slipped over on a spillage not been cleared, could not guarantee cross contamination, told they fried baked potatoes, service poor as not enough staff, waited ages for drinks, food didn't come together and plates not cleared before bringing out next course. ONE TO AVOID
