We stayed for a night and we got a very good costumer service from Eric at the reception.

Everything was perfect except the check-in time. 4 pm, even if it’s written in the ad, is NOT acceptable. Everybody should refuse that. It’s too late. No hotel in the world should allow you to check in so late.

Good location
Lovely hotel
We had a queen size room which was cozy but big enough
Decorated lovely
Didn’t seem to hear much noise during the night

Downsides
-No mini fridge in room
-Only one towel hook in bathroom for wet towels
-Only seemed to be shared changing areas for swimming pool -one for males one for females- I feel a couple of private changing rooms could be added for privacy

The most uncomfortable sleep of my entire life, the mattress caused me back pain

The room was modern and clean and the staff were friendly but the best bit about this hotel is the location - on the seafront and close to shops bars and restaurants.

The spa area was a bit disappointing, it’s more a leisure centre and very busy when we visited so don’t expect too much relaxation as there are not even loungers to sit/lie on.
We didn’t eat breakfast in the hotel as there are many great restaurants in Brighton so I cannot comment on the brekkie.

We attended the NYE dinner/dance at the hotel and it was brilliant! Great entertainment, lovely food - a fabulous time had by all and a lovely way to see in 2026!

Brighton in general is a lovely place to visit, lots of bars, restaurants and shops - especially the Lanes which is full of small independents which are just fab!
There’s lots to do and see! We took a short walk from the hotel to the i360 tower. A great way to see Brighton from the sky and we managed to catch it at sunset - so magical! I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff, could not fault at all! It was mums 60th birthday who I came with and the staff had sorted 2 drinks vouchers to use in the bar and we came back into the room with a slice of cake with a birthday note! Honestly so perfect and it being right on the seafront is stunning too :)

Nice polite welcome with a warm cookie on arrival. Pool and steam room were book only, and was busy with members. A huge selection at breakfast.

I attended a conference at the temple so it was very convenient to be at this hotel. We were very happy with the service, the room and the breakfast. The sea view from my room was beautiful and memorable.

Nice hotel. Refurbished a few years ago and still looking very smart. Rooms very comfy but in the small side. Breakfast was a good selection.

Really impressed! Wonderfully pleasant staff, service quick and tables cleaned quickly too. We had a variety of dim sum which all tasted very good.

Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Great Chinese restaurant with great food on offer. Helpful friendly staff make you feel very welcome. Pricing is also very good.

Delicious Dim Sum. Had lunch there on my birthday. Lovely meal. Can't wait to go back. Staff very nice, efficient and helpful. They got me a cab, cab driver drove off as I went out the door. They got me another one. And waved me goodbye. Also price of food very reasonable.

Staff is rude, I took my family and friends to taste Chinese food in Chinese garden twice. The staff behaved very inappropriate both times. They should know that we are paying to have a happy hour in the restaurant. We are paying to them and their first duty is to learn how to behave people. So sorry for them and not gonna go there anymore. There are other Chinese foods in town owned by very polite and lovely Chinese people. Hope the staff read this review one day and try to be a polite person from then.

Mixed platter, great, duck very dry, sweet and sour chicken lovely but the chicken in yellow bean sauce was inedible to me. It was that bloated slimy chicken that some restaurants are using now. No one came to ask if food okay so didn't send it back. However, £95 was extortionate price for meal that did include a £20 bottle of wine but no desserts or coffees.
I have tasted much better in other Chinese Restaurants. The owner, I think she was, was very rude to a couple on the next table to us. I think charging service charge is unacceptable, I pay for good service myself without it being taken and it was more than the 10% i would have left!

I was very happy to find this place at last! Super polite and friendly staff, food was amazing. Their sushi is just like the ones in Japan! Thank you Sushi Garden
04.09.2017 Jo
I love coming here for sushi! It's my go-to place in Brighton. There is a great range of smaller dishes as well as larger meals plus a good mix to choose from if you don't fancy sushi and want a hot meal. The staff are super friendly and the service is always cheery

We had a fantastic time at Sushi Garden.
The fish was tender, melted in your mouth and the squid starter blew us away.

Also tried some delicious Choya wine- 100% worth the price tag.

Staff were delightful, atmosphere on point, everything about it was just right. Don't miss if you're on Preston Street.
