Good bed, quiet room, clean & modern en suite, ample parking, good Wi-Fi.

Good size rooms, nice clean sheets. Very friendly and helpful owners. Very safe for ladies travelling solo and also close to both hospitals.

This is the worst guesthouse I've ever been to. The first floor is okay, with nice beds and rooms. Shame for us we slept on the second floor; Squeeky floors, loud noises all over the place, toilet with no lock, horrible smell and I think prison beds would sleep better.
For this room, compared to our friends room which was much better, we paid the same price which was way too high for this room.

Do not book here. Horrible experience as they cancelled our booking the evening we were due to arrive because they are "closed today". Thankfully we'd not started the 3 hour drive but whole weekend plans are ruined as there's no affordable hotels with parking. Probably going to relist the room for double the price seeing as there's a comedy festival on this weekend and they know they can jack the price up. Disgusting behaviour.

On the whole we've got what we wait. That would be better, if the room would clean better.

Most of the furniture in the room appear to be new, as was the parquet flooring. But the two bed covers one had a stain or black mark on it. the other had a tear or wear marks.
In the bathroom the wooden toilet seat had a split in the gentleman's area, and the seat itself was a loose on its mounting, so was an accident waiting to happen. The hand basin had no water from the hot tap. The boxing in of the pipework looks like it was done by Stevie Wonder, and we never used the shower as it did not look at all inviting.
The room was warm enough, and the breakfast was adequate.
So overall new toilet seat fitted properly boxing the pipework redecorate the whole room and shower and replace the bed covers.
Then it will be worth £85 for the night.

Went to gregs this morning, 2 staff members working, not once did they say hi, il be with you in a min, they carried on about there business! The female staff member had her back turned to me whilst she was cutting something up & then when she did acknowledge me after about 3 mins there was no apology just straight to the point what can I get you! I ordered 3 stake and bake 3 sausage and bean I was a pasty down when I got home!! Thank you for the brilliant customer service! And for charging me for a pasty I didn't have! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!

This place had the cheek to charge £8.15p for a breakfast with under cooked eggs and pre cooked sausages worst breakfast I've ever had utter rubbish no wonder it was empty

Enthusiastic and welcoming staff, but terrible samosas. Ordered chicken samosa which turned out to be tofu filled, tasted very bland and overpowered with excessive onions. Also ordered lamb samosa which had minute traces of lamb (the processed kind) and again with too much onions and no flavour. Despite both being deep fried I had to cook these again in my oven as they lacked crispness and tasted like an old batch of cooked samosas. Very disappointed with the food. I just hope I won't develop food poisoning.. :(
