The location was very nice, calm and peaceful. Cinema and restaurants are the neighbours. Walkable distance to many super markets. The welcoming was great and the staff service was top notch. Morning breakfast was awesome with many varieties - meat, beans, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, milk, cereal, fruits, bread, butter, jam, pancakes and many more to enjoy. Totally, the stay was awesome
I had a tremendous time here at this Hampton by Hilton and it exceeded by expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, and they went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
Excellent service. I am very impressed. Staff members are very helpful. Will definitely stay there next time round.
Lovely place. Really good value for money with breakfast included.
Lovely place. Really good value for money with breakfast included.
Plenty of parking available, but if there's a home game for Oxford United in the evening, parking can be a hassle since the stadium is right next door. Breakfast includes homemade waffles and all the usual options, primarily a full English breakfast, and the coffee is excellent. The room feels cramped with a sofa bed. It's about a 15-minute drive to Oxford University or the shopping center, and Bicester...
I wanna say a big thanks to home office and migrant help, for the wonderful support and accommodation. As an asylum seeker am truly grateful for everything. the hotel staffs especially the manager for excellent treatment. We where treated like family even though we came from a different continent. We had everything we need in the hotel. My outmost gratitude. The best hotel in the UK...
Stayed 1 night mid-week. I'm struggling to believe that some of the guest photos here are even of the same hotel I stayed in. The lobby is pleasant, modern & welcoming, the lift & corridors were clean, the bedroom & bathroom spotless. Comfortable bed and nice thick good quality towels. The bar was expensive at £4.70 for a 330ml bottle of Peroni. (Card payment only.) No draft beer is available as per...
Hard writing this review. I'll start with the pros: Clean room, bed was comfy and good lay out. Place seemed clean and staff were pleasant. Cons: No proper bar, so 5.20 a bottle of beer. No restaurant so was directed to the worst all you can eat buffet I've been to. I was told no double bed rooms so had a twin. Breakfast was pretty dire.
Just spent two days at this Hotel, first impressions were of a well presented hotel nicely decorated, clean public areas, friendly staff. Our room was a very good size, bright and very clean, good sized bathroom. Breakfast was included and offered a decent selection. Bus stop right outside so no need to use our car to get into Oxford a bonus. Definitely would return and recommend to family and friends
Lovely, stylish room with all the amenities you would need. Very nice staff who are happy to help and act professionally. The only thing letting this hotel down is the breakfast. Although the cereal and pastries were of good quality, the hot food (scrambled eggs, beans and sausages) were underwhelming and even less than the quality of a Little Chef.
Great hotel, reasonably priced with great staff. The breakfast was included and good quality, cooked and continental on offer with free coffee! Staff couldn't be more friendly and eager to help. I forgot my toothpaste, but they were able to supply this for free. Beds were comfy and the shower decent. Good distance into town too for a night out. 😁
Sensational, very cozy and convenient! Excellent location with modern amenities
Located in the city, conveniently next to the train station and the Said Business School, Oxford. Simple 3 star that is a good base to explore the city or even for business as WiFi is available 24-7. The Eastern European staff are friendly and will help you to bring your luggage up the stairs as the hotel does not have an elevator.
There is no parking available though and the public parking nearby...
My first night was marred by the fact that the people next door had very loud voices, this was there normal speaking voice but sadly the walls are very thin, too thin to be acceptable. I had to wear eye plugs and only fell asleep because I was exhausted. Also outside my room is numerous units which made a noise. The sound of someone using the shower was annoying too.
Though things looked okay in room...
Cute little hotel, clean and located next to the train station. Super convenient
everything was good and convenient only set back is it doesnt have lift
We arrived early and was allowed to leave our luggage in the hotel so that we could walk around the city before check in. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us a map that help us to explore the beautiful city of Oxford. To our surprise, our luggage were all transferred to our room after checking in time as we came back around 5pm. The stay is pleasant. Unfortunately my son accidentally left...

Stayed here as a group of six (three couples). Cannot recommend this place enough. Every Team Member we encountered was friendly and professional. The accommodation in the adjoining courtyard was clean, fresh and peaceful, with all the amenities that we needed to make our stay comfortable. Now to the food, well where to start. It’s obvious that the chef is passionate about what he produces. The...
This was our second stay at The Chequers. The room is very comfortable with lot's of character and a great sized bathroom with walk in shower. We didn't eat at the Chequers this visit as the weather was lovely and we wanted to to take advantage of that and eat somewhere by the river, but we have eaten here previously and found the food to be of a good standard and presented well. We enjoyed our breakfast...
Visited again for the 4th/5th time. We all had roasts and they were amazing as always! The food here is fantastic and we’ve never had a time where it hasn’t been brilliant quality. Staff are always polite and helpful and we will 100% be going again. It is quite pricey in here but it’s so worth it for how delicious the food is. Would highly recommend.
First time visiting this pub last week after it was highly recommended and it did not disappoint! Great service, great food! The decor is beautiful and moody!! We loved it so much we are back this Sunday for another roast!
Stayed here as visiting family close by on our way down south. We weren't quite sure what to expect but we were greeted by the staff and shown to our room. The rooms are off to the side by the carport. It was honestly a lovely stay, a personalised greeting with the information, the room was clean and had everything you could need. We managed to find time to visit the pub and have a few drinks by...
This is my third stay at the Chequers at Burcot. On this occasion I was with my Son (we were visiting friends in Didcot) so I booked two rooms. Once again everything was perfect. Staff attentive, kind and welcoming. The food was exceptional (we had breakfast this visit) our rooms were spotlessly clean. A very enjoyable visit. Thank you.

Convenient location and clean rooms.
It's not super close to the center, maybe a 15-minute walk. The facilities are good, and the service is great; everyone is very friendly. The only downside is there's no elevator, so carrying luggage up can be a bit of a struggle.
Very clean, very good for the price. A lot of amenities like a TV, hairdryer, kettle and coffee/tea. Bathroom was small but was very functional. Location is a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre as well as multiple buses if you're feeling tired from a long day out. Had decent parking as well
A very comfortable stay for 4 person, average a 15mins walk into the Oxford main area. Unless u take public bus which is just outside the stay. A lot of cyclists so watch out as a pedestrian or driver.

Place is alright but needs refurbishing.
The service was ok ,the house lady tried to please the customer ,the breakfast was ok too,,room temperature was moderate of the room.
First of all, let's talk about the price. It's very cheap and warm. It's owned by a Chinese and the lady boss is very welcoming. Although the room is small, the hygiene is very good. There are several supermarkets just outside the door, which is very convenient.
Adam guest house is an excellent choice with a really good & convenience location. Only 30 mins walk to Oxford city, bus take 10-15 mins , a lot supermarket & dining places just cross the road. Host is friendly.
The experience is very good. The boss is very nice. Very affordable. The location is also very good.
Excellent communication & check in.
Lovely warm spacious room, ensuite shower room/toilet with shower gel.
Very comfortable bed and space to sit in front of TV.
Smart TV, kettle & tea/coffee/hot chocolate provided (+milk& sugar).
Lovely quiet street, very peaceful amongst the old buildings and looking across to one of the college gardens.
Lots of interesting places to walk to within 5 minutes, colleges...
The room was clean, the woman who checked us in was nice, and the location can't be beat. Would stay again.
Great location, and really helpful and flexible staff. They arranged an early check in for us as we were going to a wedding, at no extra cost.
The room itself was clean and cosy, quite small but good for a solo traveller. The bed was comfortable, and the hushed noise of the street outside was sooting.
There was no one on reception for the duration of my stay. I was stuck outside in the rain for 5 minutes trying to get in. I rang the number on the window and was given the key-code for the lock box to let myself in, and check in myself. Other...
Location wise it’s very good, just few minutes walk from the tourist attractions. The room is okay, not thoroughly cleaned and there’s a leak on the wall coming from upstairs.
Quiet, cozy, comfortable, clean room. Very Oxford vibe, old construction. Incredible location in heart of city center but on a quiet street so you really feel tucked away inside. Service was great, and responsive. There is not a permanent attendant like at most hotels, it was quite old tech with a lockbox and just the key sitting in a bowl in the reception area. I would stay again for sure.

The room and facilities were clean and comfortable, the additional
Thought it was good value for the money. Breakfast was nice also.
Would definitely stay again. Friendly, welcoming staff, parking and breakfast a bonus, very good value for money.
Not like photos
I was disappointed with the condition, comfort and cleanliness of my room. I complained so got moved to a slightly nicer room with a much better bed. I was grateful the owner accommodated me. However I won’t stay there
The location is good - close to shops and restaurants in Summertown. Check in was easy with clear instructions for key pick up. The sheets, towels and main areas in the room were clean but other areas were dirty or in need of attention (e.g. the doors to the room and ensuite were dirty and marked, the wallpaper was peeling, there were stains on the stool by the dressing table and on the base of the...
Convenient for Oxford visit
This is our 5th overnight stay, and we will visit again.

We stayed four four nights earlier this month and had a pleasant, comfortable visit. We chose s family room though there were only two of us and appreciated that it was a bit more spacious. Also there were two cosy armchairs. We found the room to be very quiet and it looked over a back garden. The breakfast was perfectly adequate and we were plentifully supplied with tea and toast etc. It really is well...
Clean and tidy room, with buses stopping right outside to take you into town, although this is a 20 minute stroll. Quiet, and well priced, with a convenience store across the road, and a decent pub a few minutes away. Friendly couple running the establishment, and free parking.
Family run, clean, affordable. Located on bus lines but also has parking. Bathroom was a bit small, but room was large enough to be comfortable, with big windows and a sofa. Breakfast is self-catering, costs a bit extra but was healthy and quite decent, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, cereals, fresh fruit, toast or pastries.
Clean room. Be careful of check in times, as there is no front desk staff, and the fine print specifies a fairly early arrival time ot you could be out of luck. It's all in the fine print. This is a family-run inn.
Great location. Close to Oxford attractions and next to easy to use public bus transportation. A nice breakfast in the morning and friendly staff/owners. Also comfortable rooms.
Martin was a lovely gentleman and was extremely helpful on our late arrival via text and showing us around the property. I would go back but there definitely could be some improvements:
- the room had ample space and slept 6 plus our dog ,had nice views of the garden and had usual amenities however was lacking in dusting, hoovering and the towels and bedding could have used sprucing up.
-the house...
Lovely clean room, and power shower. Comfy bed, lovely duck down duvet. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Great Continental breakfast ,self service .
Ideally situated for visiting oxford town centre. Short 15 min walk straight into town centre. Would def book again
.
Bedroom was lovely and clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean if a little tired but perfectly useable.
Breakfast was an amazing array of help yourself cereals, bread etc.
Great little place that's an easy walk into Oxford centre.
Decor was beyond tired. It wasn't as clean as it should be. The breakfast, however, was superb.
An ideal property if you want to be close to Oxford centre. Currently not helped by all the roadworks nearby, though that is not the fault of the hotel.
Bedrooms and communal areas were very clean. Breakfast was a bit on the hostel side of things, though perfectly adequate. Wifi strength good.
All in all decent value for money.
The Osney Arms is a terrific place from which to explore Oxford. The rooms are small but quiet, clean, comfortable and have everything you would need. The breakfast is outstanding, with many healthy options and thoughtful touches. The guest house is also just a 15-minute walk from the train station. While the manager isn't on site, he replies quickly to any questions. I enjoyed my stay and found it...
Very good value, good breakfast, ideal overnight stay for a visit to Oxford.

On the whole we've got what we wait. That would be better, if the room would clean better.
not very friendly or helpful or welcoming staff but good enough clean room for the price. car park available but small
Good bed, quiet room, clean & modern en suite, ample parking, good Wi-Fi.
Didn't have breakfast so no idea about that, but all in all: would recommend.
Good size rooms, nice clean sheets. Very friendly and helpful owners. Very safe for ladies travelling solo and also close to both hospitals.

The accommodation experience was great. It's close to the train station and the scenic area, so it's very convenient. The store provided bagged coffee (including sugar and milk) and tea bags, which was very thoughtful! We will come back if we have the chance.
The room is very clean and has a British style. It has good sunlight, but it faces the street. The days are long in summer and it is very noisy at night. The hotel does not have breakfast, but there is a market very close to the hotel with many food stalls, so it is quite convenient.
good location
this hotel is a bit rundown to say the least. its perfect for location, and for our needs of a night at the theatre next door, ideal. i would not stay there any longer, the place is a generous 3 star!!
Grimy old hotel
A grimy old little hotel - some of it is to do with the building and property, but lots is just to do with not-caring: they could clean it better and spruce it up easily - but they don’t bother.
The rooms are also accessed with a code (not a key) which seems like it is never changed. The reception says it is open all day but it took 15 minutes of phoning and buzzing to get into the...
Well situated
Comfy bed, well situated for the bus station and bus stops. walking into town 10 minutes only. On street parking seemed to be permit only! go to Redbridge park and ride and leave your car there. the bus stops outside!. take earplugs because the music plays till 1.00am ish
Hotel could do with refurbishing but for one or 2 nights amd at the price it was worth it
The location is superior, the transportation is convenient, and the supporting facilities are abundant.
