Oxford, Peartree Roundabout, Woodstock Road (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Brilliant stay, room upgraded and breakfast was included which I didn’t realise.
Helpful staff, lovely clean hotel.
Bus stop 5 minutes walk away, buses are regular to the city centre (approx 15 minutes away).
Room was lovely. Very comfortable and clean had lovely 3 course meal but breakfast wasn’t the best mainly ordered poached eggs came more like boiled eggs rock hard .
stayed here many times. The room isn't very spacious, but it's quite cozy. overall environment is good
Very good staff.. easy to parking. nice breakfast and not vey crowded..
They upgraded me from standard room to premium room, so it was very spacious , very clean, service very friendly.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, and the road leading there was closed for construction. We had to take a detour, so it's essential to use a navigation app with real-time traffic updates, otherwise, you'll have a tough time. The front desk staff, however, was very welcoming and attentive.

Beautiful hotel with a great location for visiting Oxford. Breakfast service was very good and the pool enjoyable and not too busy. £25 for parking is disappointing.
Excellent location, a lovely walk into the town centre which means you can enjoy the beautiful city without the hassle of trying to park and avoid the new congestion charge.
Beds are really comfy and rooms are really quiet. We used to always stay at the Randolph but Voco is just miles better value for money and quieter.
The view from the room was beautiful.
It felt like time was moving slowly, and I felt really refreshed.
I’d love to stay here again.
Very impressed with the hotel and room. Very clean and one of the most comfortable night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a while. Staff very friendly. The breakfast was very good so much choices and super tasty. The only thing I guess is the parking fee a bit on the higher side. Would definitely recommend if you have the money to spend. Overall 5/5.
I have stayed in this hotel more than five times. They are always up to their standard, and the staff are always helpful and kind.
Cannot fault this lovely hotel. The staff were really friendly, the room was super clean ( with windows you can open! I hate air conditioned bedrooms). Stunning decorations and such a great vibe. Will visit you again. Have a lovely Christmas to all….

in the town, very good location, the food is good
We have an amazing stay. The room was big with a lot of character . The sink and shower did not drain properly, and the shower cubicle was small. The spa had saunas, steam rooms and jacuzzi. Service was excellent. We had a lovely breakfast and dinner. There are lovely bars and lounges.
love this Hotel stayed many times .
just a few issues on this visit that didn’t quite get the excellent for me
The aircon on the room wasn’t working I phoned the desk and was told it’s on Heating mode only turn it off and start it again we did but the guy on the desk was unhelpful.
also the breakfast was a little lacking this visit we went down at 9.20 and most of the rolls muffins and pastries had...
It is truly a fairy-tale hotel — the rooms feel as if they come straight out of a classic English story. Everything is neat, clean, and thoughtfully designed, making the stay very comfortable.
The location is excellent, perfect for exploring Oxford on foot. The lobby area is especially beautiful — elegant, cozy, and welcoming, setting the tone from the moment you arrive.
Overall, the experience was...
The room key card was very unique. The Alice breakfast was a delightful surprise, and the lobby on the first floor had a nice ambiance. There's a museum right across from the hotel, and a bus stop next to it with service to Bicester Village, and apparently even to Blenheim Palace. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the train station.
The hotel is decent, great location at the town center, with a lot of dining options nearby, the breakfast is great and the bathing amenities is great too.

An excellent hotel , great location , easy parking ,fantastic service from all staff , excellent room and extremely clean .My second visit and I would definitely recommend this hotel
Although a bit from city centre, the living area is quite amazing and we had a comfortable night
Wonderful hotel, with lovely staff and modern rooms. I’d be back here again in a heartbeat. :)
Great quality for price. Would come again. Only downside was far from central but bus stops were conveniently nearby
Really great breakfast buffet but came at a very busy time when Christmas parties are happening
Welcome at reception was good, bar staff polite but not welcoming, rooms clean, food menu lots not available/ out of stock, sauna out of service

Lovely environment but is too far from the city
Beautiful - lovely place at Christmas
Everything was excellent except the location unless you have a car.
The setting is lovely, located about a 10-15 minute drive from the city center. For those on a self-driving trip, the free parking is a huge convenience. Opening the room door, you're greeted with a garden view, and both the bathroom and the bed were spotless.
While the location is a bit remote, the setting is beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Nestled in the suburbs, the hotel offers a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, truly feeling like a tranquil escape. We really appreciated having a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The bed in our room felt like two twin beds joined together, and it was certainly spacious enough. The sofa in the room can be converted into a sofa bed (just a heads-up...

Clean room and friendly staff.
Excellent location, practically next to Westgate Mall with close proximity to major bus terminals. Facility was clean and the staff were extremely helpful.
Very pleased with the hotel and the location
Highly recommend
The hotel is in a very good location, only ten minutes' walk from the city and the station, suitable for travel and business trips.
The hotel rooms are very clean and equipped with mineral water, which is actively replaced every day.
The window view is also very good, near the castle and prison attractions, with beautiful scenery, and the hotel has its own backyard lawn and leisure space, which is...
The hotel is very unique, it was converted from a prison. I didn't know why some of the room doors had names + years on them before, I only found out after asking. The suite I booked is underground, the experience is very novel, and there is also a separate entertainment room. I like this separate entertainment room so much, it's great! Oxford is really full of history, every place has a history.
The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic!!! The staff were so polite and helpful, the room was wonderful and the meal in the restaurant was amazing. The prison hotel has a feeling of class and luxury and then a beautiful contradiction that it used to be the home of naughty prisoners - we have nothing negative to say just going home with fond memories and some wonderful pictures!!!

Honestly, this hotel offers incredible value for money. If you're looking for a hotel near Oxford train station, this is the one to choose. It's my favorite out of the four hotels I stayed at in the UK.
Easy check in , room was clean and comfortable, breakfast had good choice, hotel is situated close to railway station
Facilities: Basic amenities are all there, but you'll need to ask the front desk for a toothbrush.
Environment: Located by a small river, the surroundings are elegant and it's very close to the city center.
Hygiene: Very clean.
Service: The front desk staff can answer most questions and they also offer a taxi booking service.
The hotel is located at the city centre, just 3-5 minute walk from Westgate: can't be better: 5 stars
The room is clean and daily house keeping did a good job: 5 stars
Facilities are not perfect but understandable in limited space in an expensive city: 4 stars
Service: Staff in general is professional and up to Courtyard standard ... EXCEPT the night shift assistant manager who made the check-in experience...
The staff are very helpful, and the location is very convenient.
Everything is fine. Staff are friendly, but rooms are very small

The location was very nice, calm and peaceful. Cinema and restaurants are the neighbours. Walkable distance to many super markets. The welcoming was great and the staff service was top notch. Morning breakfast was awesome with many varieties - meat, beans, sausage, scrambled eggs, hash browns, milk, cereal, fruits, bread, butter, jam, pancakes and many more to enjoy. Totally, the stay was awesome
I had a tremendous time here at this Hampton by Hilton and it exceeded by expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, and they went out of their way to make you feel welcome. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
Excellent service. I am very impressed. Staff members are very helpful. Will definitely stay there next time round.
Lovely place. Really good value for money with breakfast included.
Lovely place. Really good value for money with breakfast included.
Plenty of parking available, but if there's a home game for Oxford United in the evening, parking can be a hassle since the stadium is right next door. Breakfast includes homemade waffles and all the usual options, primarily a full English breakfast, and the coffee is excellent. The room feels cramped with a sofa bed. All good at GSH andideally located
Fantastic hotel with a perfect location. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms and hotel extremely clean and tidy. Comfortable bed and lovely shower facilities. Note the hotel has no dining but there are excellent eateries and pubs in the same street. Have breakfast at OBB, well worth it and literally 2 doors away from hotel. Totally recommended you won’t be disappointed.
The hotel is very clean and well maintained, and the room was comfortable and tidy.
The location is very convenient, close to Oxford city centre, making it easy to explore the city on foot or by public transport.
The hotel has a slightly vintage / traditional style, which gives it some character, though it may feel a bit old-fashioned for guests who prefer a more modern design.
One thing to note...
it's a nice hotel well located and fine decorated except that some of the rooms are downstairs and charged the same price
It's about 1km from the train station. Christ Church, the inspiration for Harry Potter, is just an 8-minute walk away. Sam, the owner, is a local and happy to offer recommendations on where to go.
The room was a decent size. It's in a very convenient location with easy access to transport, and close to various attractions, museums, and pedestrian streets. The service was very good. For those who enjoy theatre, there's one right across the street, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby.

I wanna say a big thanks to home office and migrant help, for the wonderful support and accommodation. Stayed 1 night mid-week. I'm struggling to believe that some of the guest photos here are even of the same hotel I stayed in. The lobby is pleasant, modern & welcoming, the lift & corridors were clean, the bedroom & bathroom spotless. Comfortable bed and nice thick good quality towels. The bar was expensive at £4.70 for a 330ml bottle of Peroni. (Card payment only.) No draft beer is available as per...
Hard writing this review. I'll start with the pros: Clean room, bed was comfy and good lay out. Place seemed clean and staff were pleasant. Cons: No proper bar, so 5.20 a bottle of beer. No restaurant so was directed to the worst all you can eat buffet I've been to. I was told no double bed rooms so had a twin. Breakfast was pretty dire.
Just spent two days at this Hotel, first impressions were of a well presented hotel nicely decorated, clean public areas, friendly staff. Our room was a very good size, bright and very clean, good sized bathroom. Breakfast was included and offered a decent selection. Bus stop right outside so no need to use our car to get into Oxford a bonus. Definitely would return and recommend to family and friends
Lovely, stylish room with all the amenities you would need. Very nice staff who are happy to help and act professionally. The only thing letting this hotel down is the breakfast. Although the cereal and pastries were of good quality, the hot food (scrambled eggs, beans and sausages) were underwhelming and even less than the quality of a Little Chef.
Great hotel, reasonably priced with great staff. The breakfast was included and good quality, cooked and continental on offer with free coffee! Staff couldn't be more friendly and eager to help. I forgot my toothpaste, but they were able to supply this for free. Beds were comfy and the shower decent. Good distance into town too for a night out. 😁

It is comfortable and quiet. It's quite near the town centre and the university, there's a college right next to it. Super hotel, staff so nice, looking forward back again!
Hotel locations is very good and free parking for hotel guest.
It doesn't deserve five stars; it's just at the level of a budget hotel.
1) I love Old Bank! I stayed there for a week.
2) I loved it so much that I extended my stay at the hotel reception for another day, only to find it was significantly more expensive than the price I booked through Ctrip. It seems Ctrip is still the best choice for booking overseas hotels.
3) I hope Ctrip can improve the interactive review experience for customers. Actually, before I booked this hotel...
The room was clean and tidy, and the big bed was comfortable. However, the sound insulation on the upper floors was very poor, and it felt like the bottom of the building was about to fall.
The location is excellent, right on High Street, opposite St. Mary's Cathedral; the room is newly renovated, the layout is pleasing to the eye, and the bedding is comfortable; the service is warm and thoughtful, and there is a small backyard with free parking. Recommended!

The room was cold on arrival but lovely decor. Disappointed that parking now carries an extra charge
We had a lovely stay. The staff were incredible helpful with food abd transport recommendations. The decor is fun and the room was clean and comfortable. The weather wasn't great so we didnt use it, but the outside space looked lovely.
Parking is a bonus, we parked and got the bus in to town, far cheaper and easier than parking in town! Will definitely return.
Cool hotel even if loud at times
This is a gorgeous hotel with plenty of character and a decent location in the North of Oxford, near shops and eateries. As it is a quirky old building, you do hear the footsteps shuffling of your upstairs neighbours, but I would return if ever in town again.
We stayed at the Galaxie Hotel in Oxford as a family and had a very good experience. When a crib for our baby wasn’t available, the staff immediately upgraded us to a larger room to make our stay more comfortable. This thoughtful gesture really made a difference for us. The room was clean, the service attentive, and the location convenient. We truly appreciated the extra effort from the hotel team

The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had "an easy access " room which we had booked by mistake. It was a dark room, with a close up view onto a shed.

As part of our wedding celebration we decided to stay at this hotel and we couldn’t have been happier. We ended up with a wonderful bedroom with an amazing bathroom and a private garden. So much attention and details went into this and I am so grateful for the manager Fernando and the team there.

This hotel was somewhat disappointing.
The location is exceptional, around the corner from everything you want to see.

Excellent stay! Right in the center of the tourist place. Lucky I was staying at ground floor, no lift, (I guess) saw others have to carry luggage’s up via stairs. Reception was helpful and friendly.

Although the hotel is not right in the centre, it is only a few minutes from the Head of the River pub and 10 minutes from the Westgate centre. The area is beautiful and very quiet
