Oxford, Peartree Roundabout, Woodstock Road (5 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Brilliant stay, room upgraded and breakfast was included which I didn’t realise.  Helpful staff, lovely clean hotel.  Bus stop 5 minutes walk away, buses are regular to the city centre (approx 15 minutes away).
Room was lovely. Very comfortable and clean had lovely 3 course meal but breakfast wasn’t the best mainly ordered poached eggs came more like boiled eggs rock hard .
stayed here many times. The room isn't very spacious, but it's quite cozy. overall environment is good
Very good staff.. easy to parking. nice breakfast and not vey crowded..
They upgraded me from standard room to premium room, so it was very spacious , very clean, service very friendly.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, and the road leading there was closed for construction. We had to take a detour, so it's essential to use a navigation app with real-time traffic updates, otherwise, you'll have a tough time. The front desk staff, however, was very welcoming and attentive.

An excellent hotel , great location , easy parking ,fantastic service from all staff , excellent room and extremely clean .My second visit and I would definitely recommend this hotel
Although a bit from city centre, the living area is quite amazing and we had a comfortable night
Wonderful hotel, with lovely staff and modern rooms. I’d be back here again in a heartbeat. :)
Great quality for price. Would come again. Only downside was far from central but bus stops were conveniently nearby
Really great breakfast buffet but came at a very busy time when Christmas parties are happening
Welcome at reception was good, bar staff polite but not welcoming, rooms clean, food menu lots not available/ out of stock, sauna out of service

Honestly, this hotel offers incredible value for money. If you're looking for a hotel near Oxford train station, this is the one to choose. It's my favorite out of the four hotels I stayed at in the UK.
Easy check in , room was clean and comfortable, breakfast had good choice, hotel is situated close to railway station
Facilities: Basic amenities are all there, but you'll need to ask the front desk for a toothbrush. Environment: Located by a small river, the surroundings are elegant and it's very close to the city center. Hygiene: Very clean. Service: The front desk staff can answer most questions and they also offer a taxi booking service.
The hotel is located at the city centre, just 3-5 minute walk from Westgate: can't be better: 5 stars The room is clean and daily house keeping did a good job: 5 stars Facilities are not perfect but understandable in limited space in an expensive city: 4 stars Service: Staff in general is professional and up to Courtyard standard ... EXCEPT the night shift assistant manager who made the check-in experience...
The staff are very helpful, and the location is very convenient.
Everything is fine. Staff are friendly, but rooms are very small

Beautiful hotel with a great location for visiting Oxford. Breakfast service was very good and the pool enjoyable and not too busy. £25 for parking is disappointing.
Excellent location, a lovely walk into the town centre which means you can enjoy the beautiful city without the hassle of trying to park and avoid the new congestion charge. Beds are really comfy and rooms are really quiet. We used to always stay at the Randolph but Voco is just miles better value for money and quieter.
The view from the room was beautiful. It felt like time was moving slowly, and I felt really refreshed. I’d love to stay here again.
Very impressed with the hotel and room. Very clean and one of the most comfortable night’s sleep I’ve had in a hotel in a while. Staff very friendly. The breakfast was very good so much choices and super tasty. The only thing I guess is the parking fee a bit on the higher side. Would definitely recommend if you have the money to spend. Overall 5/5.
I have stayed in this hotel more than five times. They are always up to their standard, and the staff are always helpful and kind.
Cannot fault this lovely hotel. The staff were really friendly, the room was super clean ( with windows you can open! I hate air conditioned bedrooms). Stunning decorations and such a great vibe. Will visit you again. Have a lovely Christmas to all….

Clean room and friendly staff.
Excellent location, practically next to Westgate Mall with close proximity to major bus terminals. Facility was clean and the staff were extremely helpful.
Very pleased with the hotel and the location Highly recommend
The hotel is in a very good location, only ten minutes' walk from the city and the station, suitable for travel and business trips. The hotel rooms are very clean and equipped with mineral water, which is actively replaced every day. The window view is also very good, near the castle and prison attractions, with beautiful scenery, and the hotel has its own backyard lawn and leisure space, which is...
The hotel is very unique, it was converted from a prison. I didn't know why some of the room doors had names + years on them before, I only found out after asking. The suite I booked is underground, the experience is very novel, and there is also a separate entertainment room. I like this separate entertainment room so much, it's great! Oxford is really full of history, every place has a history.
The whole experience from start to finish was fantastic!!! The staff were so polite and helpful, the room was wonderful and the meal in the restaurant was amazing. The prison hotel has a feeling of class and luxury and then a beautiful contradiction that it used to be the home of naughty prisoners - we have nothing negative to say just going home with fond memories and some wonderful pictures!!!

Very nice hotel, clean and in a very nice location with a bus stop nearby and a lovely river walk to the city.
Clean and nice hotel. Just the sticker in the room is a bit spooky at night . Bed were comfortable and room were huge
Cosy, lovely and clean hotel to stay, excellent value for money.
The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is also very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel.

Everything was great, apart from the limited facilities.
Well located for our purposes. Room was big and comfortable. Slightly pricey.
Superb view to see Magdalen Collage view from the window pane
It is comfortable and quiet. It's quite near the town centre and the university, there's a college right next to it. But it is far from the railway station, it took us 27mins walk to/from the railway station. Travel light if you choose here. But  not to be too worry, lots of people pulling their luggages going about to reach their hotels or railway station, and the road/street pavement is even and...

Super hotel, staff so nice, looking forward back again!
Hotel locations is very good and free parking for hotel guest.
It doesn't deserve five stars; it's just at the level of a budget hotel.
1) I love Old Bank! I stayed there for a week. 2) I loved it so much that I extended my stay at the hotel reception for another day, only to find it was significantly more expensive than the price I booked through Ctrip. It seems Ctrip is still the best choice for booking overseas hotels. 3) I hope Ctrip can improve the interactive review experience for customers. Actually, before I booked this hotel...
The room was clean and tidy, and the big bed was comfortable. However, the sound insulation on the upper floors was very poor, and it felt like the bottom of the building was about to fall.
The location is excellent, right on High Street, opposite St. Mary's Cathedral; the room is newly renovated, the layout is pleasing to the eye, and the bedding is comfortable; the service is warm and thoughtful, and there is a small backyard with free parking. Recommended!

Lovely environment but is too far from the city
Beautiful - lovely place at Christmas
Everything was excellent except the location unless you have a car.
The setting is lovely, located about a 10-15 minute drive from the city center. For those on a self-driving trip, the free parking is a huge convenience. Opening the room door, you're greeted with a garden view, and both the bathroom and the bed were spotless.
While the location is a bit remote, the setting is beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Nestled in the suburbs, the hotel offers a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere, truly feeling like a tranquil escape. We really appreciated having a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, which made us feel incredibly welcome. The bed in our room felt like two twin beds joined together, and it was certainly spacious enough. The sofa in the room can be converted into a sofa bed (just a heads-up...

We had a really wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel! The service was amazing and the food was super too at Gees! Thanks for a lovely birthday stay
Objectively a nice hotel but it’s £400 a night. And for rooms this size and zero facilities, you don’t pay that in many cities anywhere in the world. Pluses - parking with car charging. Not easy in Oxford - genuinely charming and attentive staff - very comfortable bed - full of character. Great art etc - the library is a lovely place to work or read But there are a few things that I wouldn’t expect...
Such an amazing stay and the best breakfast in Oxford . Room was beautiful- and made daily with beautiful biscuits and fresh water . Thank you
It was a wonderful hotel, with everything I was satisfied with. Being an older building, it did have some shortcomings in terms of soundproofing, but it was a hotel I would return to again.
The first place in the ranking is a bit fake
It is recommended to avoid thunderbolts. It is hard to imagine how such a hotel can be rated five stars. Public environment: The hotel is very small, there is almost no front desk, the corridor is a narrow corridor of only one meter wide, and there is no elevator. Room: We booked an ordinary room and a suite. They are very small. The ordinary room is so small that there is no place to put the luggage...

Warm welcome from front of house. Taken to our room which was fantastic. Server very reasonable drinks before heading out for a meal. Amazing value for money we will be returning again
The room was cold on arrival but lovely decor. Disappointed that parking now carries an extra charge
We had a lovely stay. The staff were incredible helpful with food abd transport recommendations. The decor is fun and the room was clean and comfortable. The weather wasn't great so we didnt use it, but the outside space looked lovely. Parking is a bonus, we parked and got the bus in to town, far cheaper and easier than parking in town! Will definitely return.
Cool hotel even if loud at times This is a gorgeous hotel with plenty of character and a decent location in the North of Oxford, near shops and eateries. As it is a quirky old building, you do hear the footsteps shuffling of your upstairs neighbours, but I would return if ever in town again.
We stayed at the Galaxie Hotel in Oxford as a family and had a very good experience. When a crib for our baby wasn’t available, the staff immediately upgraded us to a larger room to make our stay more comfortable. This thoughtful gesture really made a difference for us. The room was clean, the service attentive, and the location convenient. We truly appreciated the extra effort from the hotel team

The hotel was in a prime location for the sights, pubs, bars, shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had "an easy access " room which we had booked by mistake. It was a dark room, with a close up view onto a shed. The bathroom was a wet room, and the chrome furniture had seen much better days. There was no shelf in the bathroom to put toothbrushes, toothpaste or anything...
As part of our wedding celebration we decided to stay at this hotel and we couldn’t have been happier. We ended up with a wonderful bedroom with an amazing bathroom and a private garden. So much attention and details went into this and I am so grateful for the manager Fernando and the team there. Everything was perfect and it made our wedding day even better.
This hotel was somewhat disappointing. The location is exceptional, around the corner from everything you want to see. The staff is very kind and accommodating and they definitely made our stay pleasant. However the state of the hotel does not justify the price point. Firstly, the pictures shown online are not representative of what you will likely end up getting; an old, small room which at times...
Excellent stay! Right in the center of the tourist place. Lucky I was staying at ground floor, no lift, (I guess) saw others have to carry luggage’s up via stairs. Reception was helpful and friendly.
Good location, historic building but a bit pricy for the facility
This was a great hotel for a stay in central Oxford. I prefer to walk when possible and this was perfect for seeing everything I wanted. The main colleges, the library, and restaurants were all easily walkable. The room was small as expected (single room), but well appointed with everything I needed. The bathroom and shower were extremely nice! Loved my stay here.

One night stay, and ended eating and drinking in the evening at the pub with 15% off the bill. The room was very clean and no problems. Overall I would definitely recommend staying and will in the future book a Fullers hotel again
My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Loved the river view and the breakfast. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that could improve was the mattress which felt old and sunken.
Nice room, great location and at a competitive price. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good.
First and foremost, the hotel has lovely staff. Very helpful and very pleasant. Our room ovetlooked the river and wasvery comfortable with robes, nice Bramley toiletries, a good bed, a nespresso coffee machine and stocked fridge.

We stayed for 2 nights in a private room with 4 beds. The location is perfect, very close to the city center (5 min walk). The staff are friendly and helpful and the price is ok. However, our room smelled bad from the bathroom and the cleaning could have been a bit better. But over all, well worth it and we could come back.
We felt this hostel to be the best for our stay. Rooms were cleaned everyday, a hearty breakfast for 6 pounds, excellent pastries and coffee. Location was great, the cafe portion with internet was a welcome calm after a busy day. The only drawback was that the laundry machines were not working properly if at all. The wonderful, friendly, helpful staff was the best part. I would highly recommend...
Clean, though musty smelling. Unseasonably warm temps made the room quite warm. The self catering kitchen was very convenient. The purchased breakfast was plentiful and well prepared. Definitely recommend the breakfast if you're setting out for the day.
Amazing place to stay. Good food, good facilities, awesome folks to stay with and brilliant Location, with plenty of restaurants nearby and all the tourist attractions and bus stops at a walking distance. I'd definitely recommend this one
I decided, foolishly, to cycle down the Oxford canal from Nuneaton on a day off and was looking for cheap accommodation for a couple of nights to recover. Never having stopped in a hostel before, I had no idea what to expect (except maybe bunk beds and sweaty hikers). Apart from the bunk beds and this, very sweaty, cyclist the accommodation was indistinguishable from a decent hotel. I arrived looking...

Wry cost and quiet but the wall is so thin to hear the other guest’s business
The room was large, but somewhat old.
There is a nice garden and the staff are friendly. It is recommended to check in during the day, and you are encouraged to enter the house after 6 pm, so checkin after 6 pm may be a bit inconvenient. The house in Oxford is quite expensive, and it is just a converted ordinary B&B. The room is clean and not big, it is suitable for two people to live in. Parents with children feel that the children have...
Drive directly from London Airport to the hotel. The hotel is located in a residential area. The appearance is a submit-detached house. When we arrived, there was a large truck of renovation garbage at the doorway of the yard, which looked a bit messy. Entering the room was still very tidy. It should have just been renovated and looked relatively new and clean. The house is of course an old house with...
I love this hotel very much. It is small and exquisite. It is renovated from an old house, but it is very comfortable to live in. The room is larger than expected and has complete facilities. The sun room on the first floor is the restaurant. It is very enjoyable to eat while looking at the scenery in the garden! Recommended!
If you arrive late, you can check in by yourself.

Room was nice and clean with hood amenities and probably worthy of 4 star's, breakfast on the other hand
This was a great hotel. The room and bed were huge. Everything was spotless. We travelled by public transport and the hotel was about a 20 minute walk from the station. Although the hotel is not right in the centre, it is only a few minutes from the Head of the River pub and 10 minutes from the Westgate centre. The area is beautiful and very quiet
Friendly, helpful team. Good facilities, comfy bed. Got in late and not clear how to warm room up. It did have aircon and radiators.
The place was old but well maintained and it's got a modern feel to it. Continental breakfast was included, within walking distance to Oxford city.
It's very quiet in the residential area and the surrounding environment is good. A hotel renovated from a small bungalow, but the breakfast is not very filling.
A bit far from the city center, in a quiet residential area. There is a river next to it, and there are people kayaking. It is very comfortable to walk along the river. Very nice place to stay with a beautiful view. The staff are also very nice.
The room offered a view of the countryside, and an elderly lady worked at the front desk. There was a small yard with parking available, which was quite convenient for those driving. The room was decent, except that the lack of an elevator made carrying luggage a bit inconvenient, and the shower machine was a little noisy. Otherwise, it was alright.
Less than 24 hours after checking in, I only saw an elderly lady staff member. I don't know if she was the boss or an employee. We arrived at around 5pm and booked a room for two. They asked us to pay an additional 50 pounds without any hesitation because the room rate was charged per person. We explained that we were only sleeping there for one night and would be leaving early the next morning, but...
I will not book this hotel again. Not managed to international standards, poor sound insulation. The wash basin has no tabletop, which is inconvenient to use. Beautiful room, fabulous breakfast and a 10 minute bus ride into Oxford. Will definitely stay there again.
We had a family room for 3 adults great size. Very clean, tea & coffee on tap and we were visited by the mince pie & chocolate fairy. (It's the littke things that matter) the beds were very comfy. The location is perfect for exploring Oxford 10 minute walk to town centre, 5 minutes to the river. Would highly recommend the great value friendly B&B.
