Very well run hotel with helpful staff. Centrally located and within easy walking distance of all attractions.

Easily checked in. Nice welcome from friendly staff.
Room clean and had all we needed.plenty of piping hot water.
Breakfast was buffet style with both hot and cold options.plenty of options.
Check out was easy.
All in all a decent stay. Would definitely return

clean place close to the city center. room was small but sufficient. unfortunately, windows could not be opened.
breakfast was standard but enough. all in all a good choice for one night

This is an excellent hotel for this price range. The location is very central - only a few minutes from the train station, ferry terminal and main shopping area. The room is comfortable and very clean. Staff were excellent, very friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good and the staff were continually refreshing the buffet dishes. I’d definitely stay here again.

Stunning when it first opened, and unfortunately the restaurant upstairs didn't work out. But still, a nice place to stop by for lunch or mid shopping as it's just behind marks and spencers. Always busy in here. Lovely fresh food, good selection on the menu (if they haven't run out!). However because it's so busy most of the time, it can be a bit of a struggle to catch a member of staff. The decor (and chairs in particular) are starting to look very tatty and this should be rectified by management. A nice place to pit-stop for a soup, coffee or a cake!

Went there for dinner on a Friday.
I love the pub decoration and atmosphere, quite busy but this is usually a very good sign :) (almost all tables were booked)
We had the rib eye steak with chips and we got it cooked rare which was perfectly meeting our expectations!

Another regular haunt for me in my Aberdeen days. The food was always really good here and the pub has a wonderful atmosphere. It's on the dark side but not in a "dark and dingy" sense but rather a "dark and cozy" sense. Good selection of beers and the staff were always very friendly when I was in.
