I've got to start with a positive, the staff here are very friendly and very helpful and the location is good.

However that is about as pleasant as I can be.
This hotel is awful.
The weather was cold the week I stayed and my room was absolutely freezing, so I put the heating on, which then makes the room incredibly stuffy due to no fresh air.
When I got to my room there was an odd smell of earth/soil in the bathroom, it was only on the third day I noticed that the shower drain was completely full of mud and needed cleaning out, which I did. The water pressure is OK and there was always hot water though.
The sound deadening is also an issue as you can hear the people in the next room crystal clear if you're sitting on the toilet which is most disconcerting.
There was also a huge gap at the bottom of the main door which I had to stuff with a towel every night to stop the hall way light shining in as the hall ways seem to be permanently illuminated.
To top off an all together awful stay today on my last day of staying, I was awoken at 7.30 by builders sawing and smashing holes in the hall way and some of the rooms, not what I needed before a 5 hour drive home.
Considering the cost of this hotel the stay was a joke, oh and the parking is £12.80 a day no matter how long you stay!!!

Won't be returning.

My stay here was agreeable and adequate.
Check-in staff were polite and easy to approach as well as housekeeping staff.
The room was a good sized space. My room was on the top floor, 10th floor, and I was happy about that but the lifts are slow.
The bed was 2 singles pushed together so was somewhat uncomfortable.
Shower had no glass door to spot water splashing onto bathroom floor so had to put towels down.
The breakfast was OK but slow service on replacing items and there were no pastries at all.

For 1 night stay it was adequate for a no frills hotel.

The room had no windows that could be opened and was very stuffy. There is only one fan. And the windows are all covered with privacy films. Can't see outside at all. It was supposed to be very beautiful outside. The stay was very depressing.

The hotel is in a very good location, right next to Cardiff Railway Station and the downtown commercial street. It is also very close to the castle, only a ten-minute walk away. The family room is quite large and the bathroom is not small. However, after staying for two days, no one cleaned up, the trash can was not emptied, and the service was average.

The staff member here was lovely, particularly a lady who had service us. The check in time is a bit annoying as it’s all the way at 3pm, you can leave your stuff which is good but if you wanted to freshen up after a long travel you of course can’t. The room was nice a bit, could of been a bit cleaner, the bathroom was horrible, could of had it cleaned it much more, didn’t feel comfortable using at all. The room was warm and had no windows for ventilation. I wouldn’t stay here again

The room is large and suitable for two people to live in. The scenery outside the house is very down-to-earth.

This place is pretty rad. The waitressing staff is attentive and kind. They always have a smile on their faces, always makes sure my drink is refilled and food comes out on time and piping hot.
They are awesome. God bless TGI Friday's At St David's.

Really great service despite how busy they were. Accommodating as we had a pushchair and lively getting staff. Waitress was lovely even though she was losing her voice. Food was really nice and hot when it arrived. No complaints here ?
