Homewood Suites Phoenix-Metro Center Hotel in Phoenix

We booked a stay at Mainstay Suites over Spring Break while we visited our student.
The check in went very smoothly, as Megan was very friendly and efficient to get us checked into our room.
Parking was free.
Hotel was pet friendly.
The carpet in the hallways was worn, but once we got into our room, it was clean and very spacious.
We had a full sized fridge, stove, microwave, a small kitchen table, all the kitchen utensils we needed, a couch and chair in the living room, and a second large room with a large comfortable bed.
The bathroom was clean, and the shower had lots of very hot water. The bathroom had a florescent lighting, which flickered a lot, which was slightly annoying, but not a big deal. The vanity and counter was outside the shower area, so it was convenient to get ready while someone else was in the shower.
Breakfast was served every morning, with multiple hot choices as well as several choices in beverages, and the normal cereals and breads.
Upon check out, Thomas was again very friendly and quick.
I would definitely stay here again. It wasn't five star, but it was very a good stay, and the staff made it a very pleasant experience.

Wonderful experience the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly very clean and the new upgrades amazing. The prices are affordable and prime location for a day and night out! Would definitely recommend stopping by and staying there!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful answered all my questions and knew her job very well. Our room was the 3rd floor facing the highway we had a good view but the windows were blurred probably for privacy. Our kitchen came very neat with a dishwasher/ coffee machine and stovetop /microwave some basic dishes and cookware. We were only there for a night but the room was very comfortable and compact. TVs worked there was some minor damages upon arrival like a dented fridge and a loose cabinet door. Breakfast was good fresh and early in the morning

Excellent overall experience. Enjoyed the breakfast each morning we stayed at the hotel. The staff we interacted with were friendly and professional. The room was large, enjoyed being able to relax in the seating area after a day of visiting family. Will definitely stay at Mainstay next time we are in town.

Pretty decent. The breakfast is reminiscent of other similar Hilton properties, but it's decent with eggs, bacon, sausages, waffles, fruit, rolls, etc. The social evening food and beverages are only on weeknights, excluding Friday. There's a couple restaurants within walking distance. There's a movie theater nearby. The suite has a serviceable but small couch, and don't flip the cushions to hide that stain you made; someone else already did it. The suite itself is decently sized, and it's nice to have a separate bedroom from the living room and kitchen. You wouldn't make a gourmet meal here, but there's enough pots and pans and utensils to not need to rely on eating out for every meal if you don't want to.

Easy to access and convenient location. Looks recently remodeled and everything is very clean. The view from room 418 is a giant Hooter's billboard -- this can be both a positive and negative.

The staff was super friendly and the meals were delicious! We stayed for 2 weeks at the hotel. Pool is clean and never crowded.

Hotel was clean and well kept. Staff was nice. Smoke detector needed to be changed but overall stay was awesome.

Rooms were clean, breakfast buffet was good. Eggs, fruits , coffee, all good! Right off the freeway so it was easy to go around town. They provide happy hour evening snacks with wine and beer every week monday to thursday .we stayed in suit for 2 weeks with 2 yr old kid. pool is very clean and not crowded. House keeping did a good job . I would recommend to family with kids to stay .
