Monami is the best experience that I've had in years. It was my first time trying a B and B, and was super lucky to come across this place. Breakfast is world class cuisine 12 stars out of 5 stars. She intentionally packed protein and carbs in our meal to give us fuel and energy for the day. Pat is a special lady and she has a special story that only she can tell, but you will have to find out for yourself. Thanks Pat!

We spent two lovely nights in the La Vie En Rose Suite—quiet, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Each morning began with a gourmet breakfast served in the serene outdoor garden, a perfect start to the day. The room and bed were exceptionally comfortable, and the setting felt private and peaceful. Host Pat was gracious and engaging, and we truly enjoyed our conversations. A charming Tucson retreat we’d happily return to.

A lovely stay on a quiet residential street with ample parking in front driveway. Easy access to roads, shops including a large shopping mall and many restaurants. Eastern part of Saguaro Nat. Park was a not a far drive. Bed was comfortable and had ample pillows. Ample towels, big shower and good water pressure, mini fridge in room too. Room was quiet and cozy. Good for solo travelers as well as couples. Very reasonably priced too. Though I did not use the swimming pool it was clean and sparkling and the garden has many shade trees. For me it was too hot to have breakfast outside in early September so the kitchen peninsula island was a great place to eat, sit and chat. Speaking of eating… Food was exceptional as Pat is an excellent chef who has owned her own restaurant as well as taught culinary arts at the University. You can taste her care in every bite. Every breakfast I. My 3 night stay was different and delicious. I was especially happy to see Pat uses real, natural and organic items in her dishes as that’s how I cook my healthy meals at home. For restaurants try Mi Nidito (downtown) and Calle Tepa (near the B&B) for fantastic Mexican and Polish Cottage (just down the road) for authentic homemade Polish cuisine (being that’s my heritage I think I’m a good judge). Pat will be happy to give suggestions as well. Thank you for your hospitality Pat.

We went to Tucson in mid-May to attend to the high school graduation of our granddaughter. Having graduated from the U of A many years ago, I'm very familiar with the town. In addition, my wife and I have visited family periodically in the past, staying mostly in resorts or hotels. This time, we wanted a less impersonal experience and looked for a B and B. Mon Ami seemed attractive and we decided to give it a try. To make it brief: after our stay, we agree with all the best reviews out there about this place. It's a fairly large house that has been subdivided in, I believe, three or four independents apartments. It's urban, yet fairly secluded in an apparently safe neighborhood. Everything is very clean and orderly, inside and outside this house. It's pleasant from the moment you arrive. Pat, the owner, is cordial and gracious with an ability to explain clearly what a guest can expect from the stay and some parameters regarding hours of service, keys, laundry, etc., and breakfast, which I will describe further below. We stayed in the La Vie en Rose apartment which, in reality, is more a suite than a room. It has a large bed, very comfortable; a real fireplace; sofas; chairs; tables, lamps, and so on. It has separate closets; an iron; and a TV set that doesn't work too well. Instead, it has a bookcase full of varied books. Pat makes the beds and cleans the bathrooms daily. In the morning Pat's serves breakfast. Depending on the weather, it could be inside, or in the large backyard with shade that includes a swimming pool, and a fountain. That breakfast is delicious. She cooks something different each day which comes accompanied with breads, fruits, yogurt, plenty of great coffee and a variety of teas. Even the morning when we left, being an early departure, Pat made sure that she had a hot breakfast for us at six in the morning. Where do you find that. This is a place to relax and enjoy. It will be the place to stay in Tucson each time that we return.

We had a great stay here. The room was comfortable and large-plenty of space. The only minor comment is we found the lighting in the room a bit dim was for reading in bed. The breakfasts were fantastic and the host, Pat, was welcoming and we enjoyed talking with her. We also enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard. Very good experience and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we are back in the area.

My husband and I's stay at Mon Ami Bed and Breakfast could not have been better!

We stayed in the French Country Suite and it was the perfect size for just the two of us. I especially appreciated that the walk-in shower had a bench seat to be able to sit down while showering! That was great, as someone who was recovering from a surgery and cannot stand for long periods of time.

Not having to worry about thinking of what to have for breakfast was THE BEST. On arrival, Pat asks you about allergies and food preferences and then she takes over from there! Every morning you stay, you'll be greeted with delicious food and coffee to help you wake up.

Pat was an absolute gem and helpful with anything we needed. We would absolutely stay again.

If you are looking for a Bed and Breakfast that the breakfast means something, this is it! Pat, the owner, is the former owner of a french restaurant in Tucson and her breakfasts are tremendous. We did not have the same breakfast any of the five days we stayed there. We stayed in the La Vie En Rose Suite and it was extremely comfortable. The weather did not allow us to enjoy the great backyard or the pool, but I can certainly imagine having breakfast out there. It has much better than staying in a hotel, we were less than 20 minutes to downtown or anywhere else in the area. Lots of restaurants around the place. And stunning views of the mountains right outside the front door. Pat was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the Tucson area. Overall, a great place to stay and we hope to return soon.

Room was huge with fireplace and delightful with all amenities. King bed. A/C. Our host Pat, is clearly a professional, gracious hostess with incredible culinary skills(owned a french restaurant for 20 years) with a degree in nutrition, which she taught at U of Arizona.
Plenty to do in Tucson, Jazz Festival, Gem Show, Jewelry Show, especially the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun and the Gaslight Theater
I guess we shall have to return soon to enjoy another of Pat's food creations and if it is hot in the summer, take a dip in the pool.

It had been some time since we were in an actual Bed and Breakfast...this was lovely. Our room was huge and nicely appointed, in a great location and the lights in the courtyard and separate entrance were perfect. Pat was delightful and attentive. Great food too!

A beautiful B&B in Tucson. My wife and I booked a weekend for our anniversary, and it felt like we weren't even in the city. The courtyard garden was gorgeous, the poil was nice and refreshing, and the breakfasts were divine. Definitely going to be coming back here!
