Dini’s is a great place to enjoy a cocktail. There are two different outside patios that overlook the ocean. The patio connected to the bar is pet friendly and there is always water bowls for for our furry friends. The cocktail servers that work on the patio will usually bring the dogs little pieces of bacon (thumbs up!) Happy hour is not only offered in the bar area but throughout the dining room as well! There are two different parts of Dini’s -the bar side which is more suited for a few cocktails with friends while watching a sporting event and -the dining room side which is better for a quiet atmosphere with casual dining and fair pricing for being so close to the ocean. The things you must try -the bloody Mary’s are the best I’ve ever had! There are two different kinds a house bloody Mary and the Caliente bloody Mary which is made with Stoli hot vodka and a chipotle salt rim (Yummm.) The other drinks I enjoy are the Moscow Mule, Cadillac margarita and the Cool as a Cucumber which is just delicious. All of the Margaritas are skinny margaritas since they’re made with agave nectar instead of sweet-and-sour. My favorite food here is the prime rib dip sandwich, oysters Rockefeller, ahi stack, crab stuffed avocado salad, signature salmon and blackened chicken pasta. Great service and really nice servers! Also there is free parking in the garage right behind the restaurant which is awesome since there is hardly any parking most places in carlsbad. They also have free Wi-Fi. There is really no where else in Carlsbad that has an ocean view...Dini’s is a must try! You will be happy you did.

We were sat in the spot we wanted quickly. The bar had a cool vibe. The food was delicious and well presented. The nachos were exactly the way they should be made with melted cheese, jalapeños and beans. Come check it out. You won't regret.

This place is worth visiting multiple times. They have a patio upstairs with beach views and the food is great. Try the strip calamari, the chili sauce that comes with these large tender strips is amazing. They offer a great beer selection and make just about any cocktail you need.
