Very nice stay at Christmas. Great rooms, great staff, great location. The only thing that was missig was that little extra Christmas touch. It would have been nice to be given a few cookies, chocolates or candies to celebrate the holidays.

Not satisfied at all
I was explained that the ballet parking was complementary and that all the amenities in the room were free up charge and now I am being charged 50+ dollars

Musty, crusty, noisy and old.
Our first room was over top of a holiday party and it sounded like they were in the bedroom with us. We moved to the "little hotel" which was equipped much like the state park cabins I've stayed in :( . Everything smelled musty, the carpet felt damp, and the walls were paper thin. Poor experience for sure. Staff was kind but overall it stunk.

Service from staff was impeccable. Room was well appointed and clean. In room snacks and drinks were a nice touch. All the gentlemen at the door were fabulous.

The location is excellent. The 9-10 restaurants on the ground floor offer very good food and service quality. The hotel is 115 years old. The price-performance ratio is reasonable. It was a pleasant stay. I recommend it.

The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Room was large and very well maintained. Without exception staff was extremely friendly and polite. Valet parking was very friendly and handled expeditiously. Will definitely stay at the Hotel again when we return to La Jolla.

The room was large and had beautiful views of the ocean. The room was very clean. The staff was friendly from the bell staff to the front desk. The restaurant and bar were excellent.

Valet parking was easy; rooms were beautiful and spacious. Staff was very helpful and shuttled us to local restaurant.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The room was clean and bright and the view was lovely! The location was convenient to all the points of interest downtown. I would book again!

Such a large, beautiful, renovated old hotel. Close to the bay in La Jolla and excellent service (especially Cassie in guest service). Their restaurant is 9/10 wonderful, gourmet cuisine.
