DreamView Beachfront Hotel & Resort in Clearwater Beach

We're in the middle of a 2 day stay. Great views of the hwy & industrial boat dock across the creek. Room is extremely small, bathroom the size of a closet, fully stocked with mold. I booked on their website a double queen with sofa bed, arrive & they told me they don't have that room. They wanted to change me $10 for a roll away. Ended up getting the roll away, although it barely even fits in the room. Pool is small, no hot tub. Beach wait staff have been nice. Free parking is nice if you can find a spot. Extremely over priced. Would never ever stay again. Far from the activities in town.

More Like Nightmare! Terrible Service! When we entered our room and turned on the refrigerator, the smell of fish overcame the room. I called the desk, and they said they would be up to replace the refrigerator. We went out to lunch and when we returned, the room smelled even worse, they never replaced the refrigerator. I called again, they said they would send someone up. No one ever showed. We went down to the beach, got a drink at the outside bar, absolutely not a drop of alcohol in the drinks! As people started checking in the music from the bar got louder and louder, all rap music. Definitely not a place to relax. There were young adults all over, drinking and yelling. I would NOT recommend this place to couples who are trying to get away for a relaxing vacation. It is a nice place, but it is obviously run by young adults who have no experience with hotel management. The kids at the front desk were young and inexperienced. We went back to the room, and no new refrigerator. Finally, we decided to leave the hotel and seek another reservation. When checking out, they didn't ask if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. American Express called them and told them the situation, and they could care less. We definitely would not recommend this hotel to friends or family or anyone for that matter.
