Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express Tampa North I-75 - University Area. We are less than 3 miles from the University of South Florida - home of the Bulls and 12 miles from historic downtown Tampa. Nestled in Telecom Park we offer a great location for anyone traveling to Temple Terrace or Tampa area.

Accommodations include complimentary Wi-Fi, self-parking and hot breakfast buffet daily. Fitness buffs can enjoy our complimentary fitness center or take a dip in our outdoor heated pool while catching some rays on our large patio area. All large guest rooms are equipped with microwaves, mini-fridge, Keurig, 32" TV and work desk. Our Suites offer all these amenities plus a separate living room area with a sleeper sofa.

The hotel was okay, and clean. Breakfast was good - but seating area was filthy! So we brought our breakfast up to the room.
And I'm still waiting for my receipt!!

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was courteous. The only issue was poor water pressure and the shower did not get hot enough.

This is an older building and it shows. The coffee machine was broken so there wasn’t any coffee.

2nd stay and no complaints. Clean and comfortable. Has 3 coffee stores walking distance. Cozy coffee next door has good food and a bar, dont let the name fool you. Minute drive to usf campus.

Room was hot and smelled like mold when we walked in. When we were about to check out noticed what looked like a large blood stain on the mattress of room 303. I am disgusted and won’t be staying here again. staff was very nice however.

I checked into the hotel after the New Year countdown. There was a problem with the heating in the room and it was midnight, so I had to endure it for the whole night. The sheets were not washed very clean. If you're too tired, just give it up. Hotel facilities are OK.

We visit here once a month and love this hotel. The staff is courteous and friendly and goes out of their way to accomodate our needs. They provide a nice breakfast in the morning with the most wonderful staff. The beds are so comfortable and plush and a pillow type for every like. This is our hotel of choice when we stay in Tampa!
