Went down here for a race weekend! Well the rooms are nice but the rest of the place should be condemned. No pool or restaurant or anything extra to speak of. The elevators are use at your own risk. They told me beach access was through a wooden door which is actually a glass door with wood where it is broken. If you just need a room it’s fine but no way I would vacation in Daytona to begin with but if you don’t expect much for not paying much you’ll be fine. But if you’re up for adventure call Roberts Taxi service. The front desk people are great and they can get you in touch with him. He’ll take you anywhere you wanna go and you’ll have a good time getting there. Sometimes it’s just about having a good time. Daytona Beach is not a family vacation destination!

We are here for our 28th Wedding Anniversary. I gave it a three just because the room we stayed in is gorgeous! The views from our room are panoramic, so we were able to see the beach and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Other than that, the property is super run down. No pool, in fact the pool is a danger zone. All of them. They’re filled with debris and green, moldy water. Looking at the property from the beach is super embarrassing. Nothing has been repaired. Or even started to be repaired. The indoor pool is closed. No gym. No bar, no parking garage.. They’re all closed! In fact, we had to park across the street, behind other businesses. The area is super sketchy. Sadly, not a place that we will ever return. I get it’s a tourist area where we stayed, but the city really could put some money into growing this place back to be a great destination, not only for Spring Breakers, but families, couples, retirees…etc.

Stayed the Daytona Beach Resort and Conference Center 2-14 to 2-17. The pictures looked nice when booking, but the place is run down. The lobby/ hallways have 1970s decor. There is an indoor pool/ jacuzzi that was totally empty. Parking is a nightmare in the next door lot as it is a semi paved/ dirt lot with no lines. People we either taking up too much space or blocking others in. There is no amenities here what so ever. No way is this even a "resort" Now for the room - all the furniture is from a second hand store or Salvation Army. The couch was filthy. You could not go out on the balconies with all the pigeon feces everywhere. You could not sit on the chairs on the balcony. The shower took forever to drain. All the furniture has nicks and scrapes. Vacasa was the management company and if you use them in the future, they will only take your money and do not care about your stay.

Several things were very right about this resort: price; location, near bars, restaurants, attractions, and shopping; and the floor plan, which made this one-bedroom condo very convenient to accommodate three people. The kitchen was well outfitted. No dishwasher, but there was not enough space for one. Oddly, there was no wastebasket, so we hung a trash bag under the sink. The bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries. Both the indoor and the outdoor pools were under repair from Hurricane Ian damages, as are the pools in most of the hotels on Daytona Beach. It was too cold to swim anyway, so it was not important. The one issue which would make me think twice about staying here again was the parking. There was a huge attached parking garage, which was gated and locked so there was no access. Parking near the entrance was very limited, with many spaces marked "no parking." My friend's car was towed from the property, resulting in a disruption of our activities and a stiff $222 fee. There had been no one to talk to about the parking when we arrived, often no one at the desk. Some clear instructions or advice at the outset would have prevented this from happening, and a call to my friend to advise her that her car was about to be towed would have been appropriate and appreciated. The towing incident cast a pall over our otherwise enjoyable stay.

This place is beyond repair, they haven't repaired anything in the last three years and it will likely be closed down completely in the next couple years, No amenities at all (Pools,Hot tub, tiki bar, restaurant, game room, and even the parking structure) Deferred maintenance everywhere and someone that looked homeless riding his bike through the lobby at 1am, guest safety is definitely an issue, I wouldn't suggest anyone stay here until the "Resort" has been renovated and the rental websites should be held liable for withholding information regarding the conditions here, the city of Daytona Beach should be aware of the guest safety issues as well.

My husband and I booked a trip there first in March, the dates of biker week. Contacted VRBO/ Dayton Beach Rental/Justin & Kelly owners, if we could rebook for a September date-off season. They said sure and charged us an extra $75, and still paid for original rates. When we arrived, it was a ghost town dingy and old. So up to the room we went, I looked outside, hazard tape at all exits to the beach. Wow not a good start. The indoor pool and spa totally in shambles, no restaurant or lounge. every amenity was shut down. We even had to walk around the building to get to the beach! Then the room on the 14th floor was very outdated, carpet you would never walk on with bare feet, awful mattress's dry rot curtains, and a tiny balcony I was too scared to walk out on. The hallways were dark and smelled musty. I only noticed a few vagrants coming and going. We were very upset and feeling deceived, left the next morning. I know there had been hurricane damage in 2022 but really NO effort for reconstruction was seen. This VRBO website mentioned above scammed us. Luckily, we found a nice resort down the road called Perry's Ocean Edge Resort, to finish our Daytona trip. I can add it was 50% cheaper than the original dump. Just ask a lot of questions when booking on Daytona Beach, because there was mention of some amenities not available or under construction.

The best part about our stay at DBR was the comfortable/spacious room, great view of the ocean from the balcony and the price was on point! The Vacasa Group handled my reservation as a complete contactless process. I absolutely loved the experience! Thanks Vacasa for the future of contactless check-in!

I agree with most of these reviews do not stay here The pictures you see when you make a reservation or book or rent by the month or whatever you're going to do our deceiving it was a beautiful resort like the picture show at one time but the owner that took over this resort is not fixing anything Eric conditioners in the hallways don't work in all the floors worse the pools are all shut down in green slimy water is being left in them all moldy none of the pools are open the Whirlpool is not open even the indoor pool is not open which there is no excuse for that as a hurricane did not damage it exercise rooms the saunas everything that is advertised is not open there is no reflections restaurant it's totally closed down The parking garage is closed down and there is not enough parking at this resort to handle when the resort has full occupancy and instead of accommodating people they tow vehicles when people are told they can park in a various area and then they are woken up to find out their vehicle has been towed it has happened consistently the last month there is a festival here now called bike week which brings many people to the area and last for 10 days and I witnessed as the other people staying here at the resort right now 50 vehicles and motorcycles were towed last night it was outrageous The owners and management care nothing about their guess or the people that stay here longer term My suggestion is go elsewhere Do not believe the lies that you see on this page or other listings for this place it is a very sad thing because it used to be the number one place in Daytona but now it is the worst place to stay in Daytona it is unfortunate I feel sorry for the owners of the condominiums who own their individual condos and then rent them out like hotels hotel style through Airbnb however they need to be honest with people because the owner of the builder defined is a developer is not doing the repairs they are required to do and have been paid to do due to a hurricane in 2022 and as a result the resort still remains run down and none of the amenities you see on this page are open You will not have four swimming pools you will not even have one swimming pool even the indoor pool is closed You will not have a Whirlpool or an exercise room or a kiddie pool or a sauna You will not even have access to the beach except for the public beach access and you will definitely not have easy parking or a parking garage that is listed as one of the amenities it is a very stressful thing for people to come and find this out so I'm posting it here and letting people know if you want to relax if you want to have a good time and a nice place to stay with the amenities that are listed here then don't stay at this place if you want to stay in a place that some of the condos are in good condition depending on which one you get and you don't mind not having amenities risking getting your vehicle towed understanding that there is not enough parking to cover the re

Our condo has been updated by its owners however the entire resort is really run down. Looks like it needs updating badly. This “resort” is the only one in a 2 mile stretch with a retaining wall still falling after the hurricane in 2022….. pools are all closed and in need of repair. Paint needs updating. One bank of elevators hasn’t worked in quite a while. Ice machine on second floor also isn’t working. Gym is closed. Laundry facilities are really nasty. Carpet in the hallway needs changed. There is no restaurant. Fencing along the parking area is missing so people could fall right down 30-50 feet to the ground. A very big disappointment.

This property is a dump. Cannot recommend staying here. The property is still suffering from impacts of hurricane Ian in 2022. All the amenities are closed (gym, pools, restaurant, etc). The property is dingy and out of date. The door to our room appeared to be falling off the hinges, the beds were awful, and the room had an overwhelming smell of cleaning supplies. Seems like the rentals are run by slumlords as the room we rented met the bare minimum.
