Hotel Indigo JACKSONVILLE-DEERWOOD PARK by IHG in Jacksonville

I arrived late, around 2:00 AM, and unfortunately the check-in experience was underwhelming. The receptionist was very quiet and provided little to no information about the hotel, amenities, parking, or general stay details. The parking situation was also unclear, as guests are required to park behind the marketplace area with minimal guidance.

The exterior approach and main entrance were relatively clean and well-maintained; however, the elevator was noticeably dirty and worn, and the foyer outside the elevator felt neglected and uninviting.

Housekeeping was consistently attentive—almost excessively so—but fresh towels were always appreciated. Unfortunately, the refrigerator contained food left behind by a previous guest when I checked in, and it was never cleaned out during my stay despite regular room service visits. As a result, I was unable to use the refrigerator.

The room itself showed signs of deferred maintenance. The shower had significant rust and limescale buildup, and much of the furniture appeared to be a mix of outdated and heavily worn pieces that detracted from the overall experience.

The most disappointing issue, however, was the presence of bugs. Near the end of my stay, I began noticing small bugs on the bed. Initially, I thought it was isolated to the sleeping area, but I later found them in the bathroom and shower as well. For a property operating under the IHG brand, especially at this price point, this was extremely disappointing.

Very well maintained property. Clean, spacious and beautiful. The restaurant was awesome with very good food. I’d like to send special compliments to the chef and the waitresses (Candice and Kimmie)

Second time staying in this hotel on our road trips down South. It’s very sweet hotel in very private little park - very quiet area. First time around we opted of breakfast on the property and went to eat outside. This time super sweet receptionist Yelena suggested we should eat in the house because food is great,- so we did. Food wasn’t just great- it was excellent! Everything we tried was note worthy. We don’t have much going on in this part of the world, but I’m seriously considering making a future detour just to stay in this little park hotel.

I love this place! So far it’s my favorite!! But I was a lil disappointed that my fridge would not stay on. I didn’t get to eat the food I bought, I’m trying to avoid inflammatory foods & my food was ruined because the fridge kept stopping. But everything else was superb!!! Definitely staying here from now on if I can.

We've stayed here several times over the last few years and quiet hotel in a good area. Has always been very clean with friendly staff.

Its not fair to give bad reviews on minor things like toilet paper, & kleenex. The only thing i had a problem with was the lack of a smart tv. Everything else gets 100. I would definitely stay here again. The entire staff was GREAT, and the hotel was clean and had a great smell throughout.

The staff were amazing, and Elena at the front desk was super sweet and kind. She was informative and made sure any questions I may have had were answered.

The room was clean and modern, the beds are super comfortable! The pool, hot tub and gym were awesome!
