The pool is in another building.

I came here with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. My husband, mom, daughter, and I stayed three nights. We were comfortable, the room was shockingly clean, the staff was extremely friendly. It’s a good value, the breakfast is basic and good as well. We were there for outside attractions and didn’t have time to swim in the pool or checkout the weight room. The hotel met all our needs, would recommend if your looking for value over frills.

This was listed as a 3-star hotel and I'd say that was being a little generous. 2 to 2.5 stars seems more accurate. The advertised Thai restaurant went out of business due to the pandemic. And all the other amenities like the pool and fitness rooms were closed.
There are several people who hang out near the entrance, day and night. I couldn't tell whether they worked there, were guests, or just local vagrants. They sometimes had a little grill going. It was not something I was used to seeing at a hotel (motel).
The room was clean. The TV only had 5 channels and those were all movie channels. The door locks looked like there was a forced entry at some point (see the photo). This fix with the keyring is unsafe and pretty useless. I never felt comfortable leaving anything of value in the room, so I always took everything with me during my 5-day stay.
The guy checking people in was really friendly. As was the one who checked me out.

The reviews were a bit scary, so I was hesitant when we checked in. It wasn't bad at all! The Pros: The room was clean, roomy and the bed was very comfortable. The pillows are nice and fluffy, and they give you four. The bathroom was clean, the fridge and microwave worked. The Cons: The TV was spotty. Not very many channels and the reception was wonky on some. There was no hot water the night we stayed there. It got pretty warm, fine for hand washing, but not hot. It didn't seem like a bad area to me. I was expecting pimps and hookers to be walking around, but I didn't see anything shady. The hotel was quiet and I got a good night's sleep, that's the important thing. We only needed a place to stay for one night, so we didn't bother with amenities such as the pool or gym. One thing that sucked was that the hallways smelled like stale cigarette and marijuana smoke. Strange, considering every room was a non-smoking room. Luckily, the smell didn't seep into the room.

The hotel itself is nice- it has a wonderful pool and sits at a great location. However, their policies have changed and most travel sites fail to inform you. They require $100 deposit for damages up front to stay. The beds are quite uncomfortable and the toilet doesn’t flush properly because of a “water saving” feature they added to it. The walls are fairly thin, so it’s easy to hear the noise from other rooms. The “continental breakfast” was just bananas and blueberry muffins. It did seem fairly safe, as you cannot get into the building without a key and you can only enter through the main lobby after 11pm. It was very clean and well kept. If you’re looking for somewhere cheap to stay, this is a decent choice, but that deposit is killer.

The hotel parking lot and lobby was set up a little weird which caused us to have to drive around the parking lot entirely looking for the entrance, but it's sorry of facing towards the main road behind the building with the pool. It looked to be relatively clean in the halls and public areas. Our room was clean enough to. The bed spread was that polyester feeling material so I didn't like that. I didn't see any signs of bugs, but something did bite me in the arm, but that could've been anything. There is a pretty large pool in a building across from the lobby. There's also a gym in there, locker rooms, a hot tub (only for 18 and up), and a sauna in the locker rooms. I didn't check out anything but the pool though. It is set up like a competition pool so it's roped off in lanes which makes it a little harder to play for the kids. There was supposed to be a free hotel breakfast, but nobody informed me of it and I only saw the sign as I was checking out. It would've been nice had I known though, but they're was nothing in our room telling us and the check in guy didn't tell me either. There was an ice machine in the hall and a pop machine. Checkout is rather early at 11 a m which was kind of annoying because you can't check in until 3, but have to be totally it by 11 the next morning.

I would rather sleep in a cardboard box during a hurricane! This place is AWFUL! Everywhere you go smells like week old dirty socks and marijuana. So many weirdos hanging around the parking lot. Every negative review you read...believe them. They are all accurate. The pool doesn’t open until 4pm and that also looked gross. The breakfast looked halfway decent but you couldn’t pay me to eat it due to the man that was running it touching all of the food with his bare hands and coughing on it.

Our room was filthy!
We checked in.... and then drove around the building to our room. We started looking around and it didn't even look like it had been swept. There was even trash in the corner under the curtain. I immediately contacted Priceline and they stated there's nothing they can do (& the hotel stated the same thing) . We contacted the front desk and asked for housekeeping to come clean our room. I was looking forward to swimming, but i feel like it would be closer to drive to the pool than walk. Definitely do not recommend this place!!

Reasonably priced. Price goes up during vacation season. LARGE pool sometimes shared with local swim team. Operating steam room. Hot tub was broken. Nice work out equipment. Overall the place is showing its age. Lots of restaurants nearby. Will get you by if not too picky or price is your deciding factor. Free breakfast was acceptable.

The hotel is hidden in a kind of run-down part of town. That being said upon entering the hotel if you actually realize it's pretty nice in here. The room is clean enough and the amenities at the hotel are pretty nice. They have a nice gym attached as well as an indoor pool if you feel like swimming in 40 degree weather... The only cons to the hotel or that the breakfast is not very good as they don't have a lot of options like you would expect at a hotel like this, as well that we found a gross bug in our room but that's to be expected it's hard to get all the bugs and little things taken care of with so many rooms. You're not too mad as we captured it and got rid of it. All in all it's definitely a four out of five experience

Affordable hotel, dated and a little worn. Our room was clean and comfortable. Lots of noise in the hallway from other guests and dogs too. Great location- easy access to highway and plenty of restraunts and stores close by. What I would expect for a low priced hotel.
