Reviews
Service throughout the stay was exceptional. Every staff member was professional, attentive, and genuinely warm, making us feel appreciated rather than just accommodated. As a valued returning guest, the extra consideration truly stood out: a thoughtful room upgrade and a lovely welcome gift that included two complimentary coffee mugs, along with milk and cookies. It was a small but meaningful gesture that made the stay feel personal and special.
The room itself was spotless, quiet, and well-appointed, blending classic charm with modern comfort. Housekeeping was meticulous, and cleanliness throughout the hotel was consistently impressive. Dining was another highlight—both the quality of the food and the attentive service exceeded expectations, making meals feel like part of the experience rather than just a convenience.
Overall, the Omni William Penn Hotel delivers outstanding value for an upscale, historic property. Its combination of gracious service, elegant atmosphere, excellent dining, and thoughtful guest recognition makes it a standout choice in downtown Pittsburgh. It’s the kind of hotel that not only honors its past but also knows how to take care of its guests—and keeps you looking forward to coming back.
The brunch buffet was AMAZING!!

Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
We arrived early for our reservation and were still seated immediately. Additionally, the atmosphere was very calm and perfect for dinner for 2. The restaurant is upscale but casual so we didn't feel out of place with what we wore (she wore a summer dress and I had khakis and a v neck on).
This restaurant would have gotten 5 stars, however, my two concerns were the waiter was not very attentive to when drinks/water needed to be refilled (cups were refilled once right before he brought us our check). Also, our appetizer (crab bisque) and a part of our entree (lobster ravioli) were barely warm - on the verge of being cold - like it was reheated not long enough or sitting on the pass for too long. Other than that, an overall good experience. Would dine again.
