The hotel is in a good location in the center of the University of Pittsburgh, with the Pitt Cathedral of Learning and the Sailors and Soldiers Memorial nearby. The hotel is relatively backward, with small rooms, small passages, and low floors. The bathroom facilities are backward. The air conditioner in the room is very noisy and it is impossible to sleep if it is turned on. The hotel service is poor: I ran out of toilet paper and called the front desk. It took a long time for it to be delivered. I called again to urge it and it was delivered late. I went out to attend the graduation ceremony on the morning of the second day of check-in. When I came back at around 4 pm, only one of the three elevators was open. There were many people waiting for the elevator for a long time. When I returned to the room, I found that the waiter had hung the do not disturb sign on the door handle, resulting in the room being uncleaned and no bath towels, toiletries, mineral water, etc. were delivered. I called the front desk and was replied that the waiter had gone off work and could not deliver the supplies. After a while, a few bath towels, towels, and toiletries were delivered, but no toiletries were delivered. I called the front desk again and a few more towels were delivered. The service was very poor. The hotel room rate during graduation season is more than three times the usual rate, which is not cost-effective. However, another hotel across the street from the hotel with a similar price is very good.
