Grand Bohemian Hotel, Autograph Collection

It is a beautiful hotel. All staff was very nice. The room was clean, spacious and well decorated. I love the location because it's within walking distance of the Market and shopping on King Street. I can't give a 5 star rating because of two things. There was a loud clunking noise that happened about every 45 minutes that woke us up throughout the night. I discovered the next morning, that it came from the room's mini fridge. Needless to say, we did not get a good night's rest. Also when checking out, they billed the wrong credit card and never sent a copy of the receipt by email, and didn't give out a hard copy either. We discovered it by looking at our credit card statement online. They were apologetic but couldn't undo what had been done over the phone. That was disappointing. The valet staff were very nice and quick to retrieve my vehicle, though.

Nice rooms and location is close to the city market. Valet parking is over priced... Our car was parked in the hot sun all day.

Really excellent service. Fourth floor restaurant with outdoor seating was nice - huge kudos for Spencer who recommended drinks that paired perfectly with my meal. I enjoyed the artwork throughout the hotel, and my room (even the scary eyed woman painting in the hallway - see the bathroom pic). The bathroom was impressive with a separate toilet closet, shower and huge soaking tub with peek-a-boo plantation shutters into the main room. So, you can soak while watching tv. The bed and pillows were fluffy soft. Only two negatives: the bath faucet was too close to the mirror, so while washing my hands, some water went on the counter. The other negative: The heating fan on the air conditioning unit was a little noisy when going on/off. Really enjoyed my stay. Was sad when leaving. Huge positive - although they took $100 from my account for using a debit card, the amount was immediately credited to my bank account when I checked out. Awesome. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

Lovely hotel. Unique decor. Friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable bed. Innovative cocktails at the rooftop bar. We enjoyed our stay.
