Microtel Inn by Wyndham Knoxville

Room had blood splattered everywhere, the bed skirt, floor, sheets and pillows, even the curtains. Found dead stinkbugs everywhere. They got very mad when we asked them to change our sheets and they ended up giving us new ones to change ourselves. Had to get disinfectant and spray every surface in the room and still didn't feel comfortable staying there.

Consumer beware!!!!!! Stay away. Price reflects what your getting. Our room looked like homeless people where living in it. Bathroom had mold, along with shower head was broken and leaking into the backside of the drywall. We asked for 2 extra pillows and the guy at the counter treated me like I kicked his dog. Go down the street to the competitor. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

I travel for work and this hotel is usually around one of the areas I work in. I’ve stayed here maybe ten times.I usually pay 100 dollars for a room, because there was a football game going on the prices were 175.00 after taxes the man the runs the hotel was nearby the desk I asked if I could have my normal price. He shook his head dismissively and said “no, there’s a football game going on”. I don’t think it’s ethical to raise your prices because a athletic event happening. Anyways his response was less than formal and his general demeanor and candor is that of a “bad person”.

Once they took an 80 dollar deposit from me without asking and when I called the woman who answered lied, and said they didn’t. When I got my bank involved the funds magically appeared back in my account. I thought it was a matter of miscommunication at the time.

The motel isn’t terrible tiny, but clean I guess. The African-American gentleman behind the counter is a great guy always polite and honest.

Bed was comfy but couldn't walk across carpet without shoes . very sticky! Smelled of black mold. Breakfast was offered but took a pass. Old everything. The smell was awful an then find out it was on east end of Knoxville an we were in dangerous area. Beware of your surroundings

Rooms are super tiny guess they make more money thAT way. THE MAN HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME WHEN I TRIED TO CANCEL...There outdated. Front desk lady was very rude to me when we complained about them withholding $176 from our account for 1 night stay which should been $59 AND TOLD US WE COULD LEAVE BUT NO REFUND IDIOT'S GOT $176 OF MY $$ AND TELL ME I CAN LEAVE AND WANT GET IT BACK FOR 8 DAYS REALLY ! WOULDN'T STAY HERE EVER AGAIN ! NEITHER SHOULD YOU ! DIFF DON'T USE YOUR DEBIT CARD !

The staff were always very nice; however, there were many issues. The internet always was going in and out. Over the 4 days I was there I had to call the front desk to have them to reset the router twice. Then after that I just gave up and used data. The sheets had stains on them, the towels had holes in them. The last incident was when I got back to my room late afternoon all of my sheets and towels were gone. I had to call the front desk to have housekeeping finish cleaning the room, since they forgot half way through. I wouldn't stay there again.
