This place was so dirty and nasty. It was live cockroaches crawling everywhere. They were stuck all around the base of the toilet on the ceiling on the tables. I ordered pizza and I had it sitting on the table and had cockroaches in it within not even 10-15 minutes of the box sitting there. I had to go buy bug spray because they wouldn't give me my money back and I had to spray all the way around my bed, the walls, the tables and everything just to be able to sleep to keep them from getting in the bed. I did not bring none of my clothes inside. Didn't bring nothing besides what we had on hands down the nastiest place I've ever been to. I do not recommend it

Thankfully, we were only staying one night. Staff was nice and was room was clean, but the tub in the bathroom was unuseable. The tub bottom (enamel?) itself was physically peeling off in rather large chunks and definitely did not look like anything you would want to shower in. If one of my children had taken a bath, the enamel would have been floating around with them. The hallway light is incredibly bright, which i understand is for safety, but the curtain choice by the hotel does not block the light from the room, even with the dark shade. The light floods in around the small curtain and your room feels as though you are trying to sleep with a lamp next to you. My kids were also bummed that the pool was closed.

The front check in staff seemed to be condescending. The first room had cockroaches and again the front staff seemed to be put out we wanted a new room. The second room was run down.
In the morning we wanted to shower however had no hot water. There wasn’t any staff to report the issue too.
We just left much earlier than expected. Will never return to this location.

Staff is great. Hotel is not the cleanest or up to date. Water takes forever to heat up, if it ever heats up. Also, if you live within 100 miles, you have to have a $200 cash deposit. No working atm.

The faucet on my shower fell off didn’t get to take a shower. The fan on the air was so loud and there was a ticking in the room. I couldn’t sleep for the noise of it.

Bugs in room! Asked for refund and front desk was very understanding, immediately refunded our entire stay and we moved to a different hotel.

A couple in front of me was denied allowing their pets to stay after they called to verify. There were roaches in the front lobby and in my room. The breakfast was a joke. The shower curtain in my room had drywall mud, paint and/or blood on it. The sheets had holes and the pillows were small and uncomfortable.

Gentleman at the front desk on Friday was a little rude, wanted to charge $25 to check in 1 1/2 hrs early. Breakfast is ok. Room is clean, facilities are pretty nice for the price.

Very poor, dried out at the end of the night. They should have closed up hours earlier. The sides are just out of a can. Will not be returning. $27 for two to eat. Ouch.

Good pulled pork sandwiches. Buns are locally made and excellent. Potato salad is the best I️ ever had. Also a very good value.

The staff was amazing and the food was just as amazing. We came up from Tampa from the hurricane. This place is awesome great food!Amazing service! Service like this is hard to come by.

From the outside of Asia Cafe it looks like your average very unassuming hole in the wall restaurant. I was originally hesitant to go but I had a close friend who recommend it. I walked inside and was greeted with amazing smells and glowing RGB tables (which you have to admit is really cool). The inside was clean and it authentically feels like you're in a restaurant located in Japan or China. I had the Hibachi Beef with Green tea. The Green tea was average, but the Hibachi Beef was no doubt the best I have had at any restaurant in Knoxville so far. I also had a bite of my friend General Tso's Chicken and I think I might need to make a double order next time because it was spectacular as well. The prices are surprisingly good, my meal came out to just under $12 with tax. I have no complaints to speak of, awesome place!

Great atmosphere! I love the color changing tables! They even have a table for two with commodes as the chairs. The hibachi is always a delicious meal with side salad and soup. If you are interested in sushi they have quite the extensive menu selection. On of my favorites is the Knoxville roll. I will definitely recommend this place for a first date.

For the most part this place is okay. Food taste good the price is $$$ and service is fairly quick. However, they are forever jacking up my moo goo gai pan. Adding stuff that don't belong there and I order with no cabbage & onions and it's always in there. I shouldn't really have to pick through my meal and so at this point I'm just going to start eating somewhere else.

Server was very nice until a problem was reported... food was cold... others in our party were just eating anyway, but I requested mine heated.... it was popped in microwave and returned still cool in middle of plate. We all ordered fried rice and just got white. The server obviously angered basically accused us of lying and just never came back. Had to ask to speak to manager who also came over very irritated and non-believing of the cold food. We all felt like a huge nuisance and left much earlier than planned. We were looking forward to a couple of drinks and karaoke but certainly didn't feel comfortable or welcome anymore.

I have lived in the area for 3+ years & have been going to the Asia Cafe since the weekend I moved in. The very first time I was in there, my mom had forgotten her reading glasses & could not stretch her arm out far enough to read the menu. It was in late in the afternoon, so the place was slow and the owner was sitting at a table reading a newspaper. He saw the arm stretching session, got up, & handed mom his reading glasses so that she could see. We got a big kick out of that & I've been going there since. It has become my go-to place for dinner & takeout.
It is definitely a different kind of place. It is unique & just feels more like a dive bar then an Asian restaurant, but that makes me like it even more. They have every kind of Asian cuisine you can imagine & everything I've had there I have enjoyed.
When friends visit from out of town, we typically end up going there & they seem to like it just as much as I do. So much so that they usually want to go there the next time they're in town. :-)
