Cute little hotel(now called the Harthall Hotel)! Its close to Broadway and other Nashville attractions. Very reasonably priced and the rooms were spacious, clean, and modern looking. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. Will definitely be back!

I rented a 1 bedroom apartment 9/25 paid in full never got my entry code when I called they informed us placemakr wedgewood houston had sold and would have to pay again to stay!! Called other Wedgewood hotels in Nashville they actually hung up on me!! I have a claim with cc company. Wasted 2 hours of our time and needless to say we made a reservation somewhere new.

The property was unique and overall pleasant. Very comfortable bed, clean sheets, towels, and bonus amenities like washer, dryer and kitchen. Location was off the beaten path a little but adjacent to everything you need but you will have to drive. The only negative was communication with staff. I asked for a 1:30 pm checkout. Was told no problem. And confirmed with front desk and second time. Then Jamie started knocking on my door and told me I had 15 minutes to pack up or I would be charged $100 late checkout fee. After I packed up my wet cloths (in dryer) I hustled downstairs to be told late checkout was $50. It's just a training thing. If there is a policy you should be told when asking for late checkout rather than finding out the hard way. And staff should know what the fee actually is. Like I said, place was great, neighborhood train track adjacent and not walkable to anywhere. But if you have a car it was great.

The hotel was easy to locate. I felt safe in the area as well as in the building, even with the threat of tornadoes. The hotel itself is modern and beautifully industrial. I loved the convenience of the shop and restaurant in the hotel. After a long day and with terrible weather outside, it was a relief to get such a wonderful meal and a few essentials without having to leave the premises.

The check-in process was quick and easy. I liked the security of using a passcode for the elevator as well as room entry. Everything was neat, clean, and beautiful.

This hotel is really neat, great concept. Loved the restaurant and bar as well. The area is grimy though to the point that they have a special apparatus that locks your car up and then dispenses it back down to you when you need it (very japanese and actually kinda cool). We had a friend from Nashville come visit who parked on the street and had his car broken into. Furthermore the bar can get VERY loud and animated and FULL on weekends. Not a problem for us but older guests will want to avoid.

I really wanted to love Placemakr Wedgewood-Houston, but unfortunately, it is not the case. The front desk staff were amazing, even some of the cleaning staff that I crossed paths with in the halls were friendly and courteous. I give all the staff a 10/10. Actually, I give them an 11/10. Check-in was easy and simple - much of it is done online before you even get there. I didn't like that I had to upload my passport to verify my identity, as I'd rather do that in-person, but it is what it is. Times sure are different...

The building itself, the (paid but secure) parking, and the location to popular areas in the vicinity were phenomenal. I shared how much I loved my room and the amenities with my wife, and how I wished other hotels and suites were the same quality and design.

Unfortunately, what soured my entire experience was the noise.

The windows didn't block much of the constant noise from cars driving down the street (many of which were blasting their music?!?!) and the train...ohhhh, the train. What an unfortunate thing to have beside your building. I was originally placed in a room facing the tracks and once I heard the train come through, I immediately went to the frontdesk asking for another room, and she was super understanding and helpful. (Thank you, Soraya! - sorry if I misspelled your name!) She moved me to the other side of the building and upgraded me to a suite with a balcony. On the nightstands to each side of the bed are earplugs...when you are given complimentary earplugs beside your bed, it makes you ask what you got yourself into...

In addition to dealing with the environmental noise, my 2nd night was even worse, and this is on their management (not the staff).

At around 2:30AM, I woke to very loud music coming through my wall and the hallway. I called frontdesk and they found out music started playing in the lobby as well as the 3rd floorr balcony and they didn't know how to stop it. Ruth at the frontdesk offered another room for me to sleep in (i.e. I didn't have to leave my room; I could just sleep in another room which was away from the noise) however, I was unable to fall asleep again and didn't want to go through the inconvenience of leaving all my stuff in one room and sleeping in another. I had an important meeting that day which thankfully went well, but I was definitely not rested and felt tired all day.

My third night I slept well, simply because I was so tired. No earplugs, bass-bangin' cars, or elephants running through the halls could wake me.

At checkout, I requested the friendly frontdesk person to see if I could get a comp/refund for my 2nd night's stay, and he told me he wasn't given the access to do that but that he'd leave a note on my account. I do hope that management is agreeable to comping at least my 2nd night due to the massive major inconvenience.

Sadly, I don't see myself booking again at this location, and I would not recommend this location to anyone who is a light sleeper, simply due to the exterior noise which cannot be helped without signifant changes. If, however, you sleep like a log and can sleep through a hurricane, then I think you should give this locaton a shot!

The building design, rooms, amenities, and staff are so wonderful.

Train whistled multiple times a night. Didn’t sleep all night. Location not convenient. Very far from downtown. Safe not working. Sofa bed not real bed. Neighbourhood didn’t feel safe. Smell of pot in the building. Very disappointed in this hotel. Would not return.

The location was good. The space was a nice size. The bathroom was a nice size also. The kitchen had the proper pots and pans and cooking utensils. We enjoyed coffee tea and hot chocolate. Thank you.

The parking is not made for midsize vehicles or larger. Noooo. Parking should be explained for clearer expectations.

We stayed during the time it snowed and the room was cold. It took 24 hours to warm up to our desired temperature. The advertised pictures were beautiful aesthetically pleasing yet did not deliver same results when we opened the door to our space. Someone before us left food in the refrigerator. Which left me confused that proper cleaning didn’t take place.

We didn’t have a dust pan as listed for clean up. There were minor scratches and dirt scuffs on the walls, clean up paint job needed and repairs (bathroom fixture parts on the sink and dishwasher handle) are needed. Curtains were stained and the bedside upholstery was soiled.
We were supposed to have a balcony city view and didn’t.
Table setting was incomplete too. I made it work of course.
Nothing was open downstairs as advertised. I really had hope to try them out. It was part of the reason I booked.

What a disappointment. Their communication is terrible. I had to call them several times to ask them to send my itinerary because they didn't send me one. I spoke to them three times and they never sent it.
It's modern-dysfunctional. For example there are no shower doors and so your concrete floor is soaking wet after a shower, no matter how careful you are. The concrete floors throughout are freezing cold at night. They have an elaborately long code to be able to enter the building, to go up the elevator and to get into your room.
Wanna watch TV? Good luck. They don't have local TV or cable and as a result we couldn't watch any football games on Sunday.
$20 a night to park but the parking lot lifts were not working.
$25 to have a late check in only gets you an hour. 1 hour.
At $130 a night for a hard queen size bed you'd be better off staying at a Motel.
Oh, did I mention that there isn't any type of breakfast of coffee shop nearby? Well, now I did.
