The balcony view was not as good as expected I also didn’t like the bathroom set up especially with having young kids but other than that not a bad stay. Loved the double bunk bed option. I would definitely stay again

The hotel was very nice, clean and staff was very courteous. There was one issue, no hot water in our room, Saturday morning I had lukewarm water, and I advised the front desk, my husband had no hot water it was cold. The next day Sunday, I showered in cool water and my husband had lukewarm water...since we were checking out, I advised the front desk again...no hot water. They gentleman apologized...

The room was okay. I do feel feel like deeper cleaning could have been done. Also one of our remotes didn’t work; the tv kept having a title slide across the screen too. Overall I like the view from the room.

The Seaview suite had ocean views, but the guest room and bedroom felt completely reversed. The layout wasn't very logical; the bedroom faced the main entrance directly, which was a bit odd, while the living room faced the ocean view.

The room was found to be very clean with plenty of room in the standard double queen bed room. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. The buffet breakfast was surprisingly pretty good. I had the egg and cheese omelette and it was not bad! The staff were very friendly.

Bed was comfortable. Mold in hard to get to places of bathroom. I had to manually stop the toilet from continuing to fill. Hot water seems to be an issue. The balcony of the sea view room overlooks the beach. You can go downstairs to the beach to play in the water. The hotel also has a swimming pool. The breakfast is rich in variety. Coffee and hot water are always available. The main street is also very lively and convenient.

You get what you pay for.. We needed a place to stay with our 3 doodles. Room was good enough for us. We decided to leave after a night due to smell, ppl sitting outside on steps, & phone & smoke detector in room were not hooked up or working. However, lady at the front desk was amazing. We had paid for 3 nights and were never refunded our money back.

The airport shuttle was fast and very friendly, the front desk lady was amazing. Room was very clean ( and I check!) not the best water pressure but the water was very hot and had great shower accessible seat for wheelchair. Will be coming back!

I gave poor property condition because our room had a clogged toilet so the nice lady at front desk moved us to new room. Other than that, we really enjoyed it! Loved the shades in the room.

Easy check in & out. I left my pillow and Robin was so helpful finding it and getting back to me they had it. My daughter was able to get it back for me.

Staff was friendly and the facility was clean. I appreciated the free parking with the room. My bed was uncomfortable and the blankets were horrible. They were very thin and scratchy. I just expect better quality on everything based on the photos online. Not the worst, not the best.

I only gave 4 stars because the receptionist who checked us in was not very welcoming. We checked in late because we got turned around and went to DC instead of going straight to Virginia.

We stayed 4 nights. The hotel has a very good location close to restaurants and the main road. On site parking is great. The beds are comfortable. The "Two bedroom with two king beds" in room description is misleading since it puts a king bed in the living room so there is not much space left with the king bed. It didn't give a picture to show the room layout so we assumed it is a two-bedroom suite...

Balcony Room on the Lake Got a balcony room and loved it. Was able to walk to the beach,boardwalk, and fishing pier. Ducks to feed and a big dock to fish the lake off of. Deff worth the price overall. Service was great anytime we needed anything they accomidated . Very pleasantly surprised.

Honestly, this place is great. The staff are nice and friendly, and the area feels safe even at night. The room itself is clean and has all the basics covered - the bed is comfortable in the shower pressure is actually good. The wifi works well too. No complaints at all, I'd definitely stay here again.

Just a few things when I first entered my room there were ants crawling over the kitchen area I bought some eco friendly big killer and the bathroom sink was slightly backed up but that’s it everything else was fine

we loved cutty sark efficiencies. everything we needed was in the apt from stove to glasses to pots n pans. the staff were awesome. enjoyed being within walking distance to the beach we could see it from our room. great variety of shops within walking distance also. planning next years vacation to virginia beach to stay at cutty sark again. highly reccomend.

We stay jere annually as we traverse down south. It's not for people looking for a super modern hotel. It is retro lovely Mom&Pop owned hotel. No elevator.
