Make sure you let the staff know that you do not want a dehumidifier in the room...that probably shouldn't have been in my room anyway, because normally it is NOT part of a hotel room. When I tried to unplug it...the plug came apart. Afterwards, I tried to fixed it, but was unable to put the plug back together. After check out, I noticed $75 was taken from my account! I was totally shocked to be charged $75 for a $30 item!!! Prior to that, I was told that I couldn't cancel reservation, but I could reschedule. When I called back reschedule, I was told it has to be done 7 days in advance vs 3 days or I would lose ALL of my $,..that was news to me!!! I will never make another reservation the requires full payment upfront. Also, the vibe is not the same at VA Beach... I checked out early it was the worst trip ever!

I would love to give a full review but I'm not even able to stay, booked through booking by accident and tried to get a refund, got Ignored no one answered the phone or they answered and hung up on me, staff basically told me I was sol so I'm out $350 but at this point after reading the new reviews il take the loss and go somewhere else. Owners rob people probably wouldn't recommend ever at all because of that. Avoid it if you can

Worst place I've ever stayed. Kitchenette had NOTHING, nary a spoon! The owner is a narcissistic bully. READ THE FINE PRINT! I was kicked out for having my niece and brother stop by for 20 minutes. Dated, door was falling off.

We recently booked for 2 nights based on the great reviews. Upon arrival we were upgraded (due to availability) to Angie's Cottage. Everything was so clean, beautifully decorated and maintained. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. We decided to spend a 3rd night! Restaurants and the ocean are a few minutes walk away. We received the royal treatment!

Customer service was good... they needed to nickel and dime us for another 30 bucks because of a last minute addition.. so fyi, they do care about how many people are in your room. Would have been nice to have a smoking area somewhere on property... also would have been nice to be told what to do at checkout. I was never instructed what to do with the key, nor given the wifi password.
But.. the reason this property gets a 10/10.. was simply do to the showers water pressure. It felt like a fire hose and was great to shower off after being in the ocean.

Terribly dirty rooms including blood on the pillow case. No one in the office at check in or check out or address concerns . Had to call over 20 times to get someone there. Charged me an extra $100 for children absolutely ridiculous. Called to find out why the nasty lady who answered my call screamed at me an accused me of trying to “defraud the inn keeper”. Didn’t use any extra space no extra resources as even towels wheren’t changed out during our 3 night stay. Motel is on a busy street, sketchy street. Watched drug deals go down in the parking lot. Listened to the neighbors fight all night. Over all terrible place spend the extra money you’re going to get charged and stay on the board walk. The only good reviews are from them and their friends.this place is over priced and nothing more than a seedy roach motel.

I was not at all pleased with the fact that they advertise a microwave and the room and when I got there was told that I was not allowed to have a microwave. Also I was robbed out of my security deposit which was not mentioned in the price and they refuse to return it and also did not allow me the opportunity to have my room checked before I left. I was accused of smoking in the room which is not true I was told to leave my keys and they would check the room later that it would be okay and they kept my security deposit and refused to return it. I have had to file a report with about a business bureau and I'm also letting you all know that is not a place to have on your listing and not recommended by me. I will be posting on Facebook and any other social media to let people know Ocean cove is not the place to say. They are thieves and liars.

I called 4 times prior to my trip to check in something and never got an answer or a return call to my messages. When I arrived, during office hours, no one was there, again I called to get no answer. Luckily,they came into the office as I was about to walk around the property to look for someone. They were showing someone their room. On our second day our beds were made and fresh towels left but the garbage wasn’t taken out and it was full. Again when I went to check out no one was there! Again I called and actually got can answer. I told them I needed to check out and was told just to drop my parking pass and key in the drop box. This would have been nice to know at check in. The location is great with everything near by, restaurants, store, shops and the beach with a block. There is a lot of noise as we were road facing-Pacific Ave which is busy-not the motel’s fault, just giving information for light sleepers. Read carefully the amenities, not much offered except a place to sleep close to the beach. It was clean.

Just a heads up, the interior here is very very dark and dingy. The service is friendly. Except for, I guess it’s the cook who is behind the bar, and he wouldn’t help the one waitress with anything. When he isn’t doing anything, he should greet customers instead of just saying that the waitress will be around. The food was out quickly and was good. I wish they had had or offered a drink menu.

Having been coming for many years. This was once a place I went on my anniversary. Now I'm there every other week. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Smoking and non-smoking sections with seating options for both. I personally love the taco salad. Prices seem like they're high, but you get a lot of food for your money. I consider this a local favorite. I work for a hotel a couple blocks away and I recommend all of my customers to Baja Cantina.

Love Lunasea. Favorite bar, club, brunch spot at the oceanfront. Dan always does a great job taking care of my friends and myself. Check out the outside patio and sand pit with corn hole and volleyball.

Mornings it's a small restaurant, don't know what kind of food they doing. I was there when the moon comes out, and all youth want get drunk. A lot of people. Security every where. They charge 5$ for enter, but only guys, girls have free enter. Inside are 5 bars. Drinks are really cheap and strong. The place is really huge. They don't serve food when it's night. Why 4☆? They have some stupid rules, and line for entering always long.

This is actually 21st street deli now. The food is good for a fast meal on the go. They have about 22 combos ranging from vegetarian chick peas (very good by the way) to chicken tenders to popcorn shrimp to corn dogs. The fries were not very good and the bathrooms should be avoided, but for a quick bite with kids it's great. Also the outside seating had very heavy chairs which are great for kids who like to stand up in their seats without flipping over.
