was given a room with a broken toilet seat, staff continuously failed to bring requested items, the door on our room got continuously stuck from the inside, as well as no free breakfast.

The hotel was doing renovations but loud noise from morning until 5/6 pm. It was not a relax and quiet stay. I worked during the day from the lobby and my car instead of my room.

Beautiful ocean view , super clean room , Christmas Decoration lights at boardwalk, staffs are super friendly and easy parking.

1. Heater makes loud noise. 2. Double beds are very compact 3.In my room conditioner bottle was empty.They should have refilled before hand over the key. Only shampoo and shower gel were there. NO BODY LOTION in my room. 4. Flush was almost broken in the toiltet.

good location, we were staying on the 7th floor and the elevators kept breaking. My son was trapped in one until the fire dept came to pry the doors open. That elevator was out of order the rest of our stay. The remaining elevator kept stopping, requiring several trips via the stairs to 7th floor. The doors on the elevator had several pry marks on the door so was not very comforting everytime...

Unfortunately, the restaurant was not open during our stay. The ocean view was amazing! Having a separate living space and kitchenette was a plus!

There were no food options in the building. My guess is that the restaurant is only open in season. The staff was nice enough. The beach view was lovely. The room was not terribly clean cobwebs on the ceiling and other dust all over. Some of the lighting in the room didn't work. The kitchen area was much smaller than it looked in the online pictures.

Our room was beautiful. The view was stunning. Everything was clean. The staff were very nice. The only thing I did not like was they did not have people to clean the rooms. If you needed something you had to call for it.

Overnight Stay Stay was ok. Room was ok. Weird people moving around outside at night. And actually witnessed someone’s child try and open our car door from our room window.. luckily the doors to the vehicle were locked.

The room does need an update but the hotel is working on that. The room, overall, was fine and we were right on the ocean so we got to watch the porpoises swim by and listen to the waves so that was great!

The mattress needed to be replaced-seriously uncomfortable. The staff was great. The hotel is older and not as well maintained as others!!

This time around we were a little disappointed. The room and pillows smell funny. The coffee maker was dirty and they no longer serve breakfast. But, the location and View was amazing.

The room was very clean along with the bathroom. Despite it being an older building, it is kept up and maintained. My only complaints were the towels having some hair on them and the dirty vents. For the price, it was well worth it.

The stay was great! This is an older property and the pool area as well as the bathrooms show their age, but everything was clean and tidy. The mattress was ok, but not something you would want to sleep on for more than a couple of nights. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay at The Capes again, no question.

This hotel was in a great location, close to restaurants and stores. The oceanfront room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Views were amazing with the sunrise every morning. The boardwalk is very nice for walking along the ocean.

We’ve been coming out to the Va. Beach area for over ten years now and have stayed at the Four Sails for ten years. The units are very comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for us with plenty of stores nearby. The boardwalk and beach are the best.

Loved our stay. The 2 bedroom unit was perfect for our family vacation and the views were amazing. The staff was extremely friendly. The ocean front room views were amazing. The hotel staff were great. Very couteous and professional. The actual rooms were average but we didn't spend much time in our room anyway. I just stayed in the Alamar Resort Inn. I was in room 104. I really have to say for the price it is GREAT! Everything was clean. It is a great location by the beach. The beds are comfortable. The pool is clean. A great last minute find! I would stay again.
