Drain lines were slow for both days during visit. Room was ok otherwise. I'd definitely recommend the Indian buffet for lunch. Very good and super reasonable.

Decent hotel for the price. The service is great here. Could use a little renovating to make it more modern though.

It's nothing fancy, but the rooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and the price can't be beat. It's an old hotel, but at this price with a good continental breakfast and relatively cheap parking it's a bargain to be downtown.
Randy
this is a great place in the sense that it has value through location, room size and staff friendliness. There is also a continental free breakfast and the hotel is easy going for large groups.

Decent hotel, just a little dated. Easy parking in the garage attached to the hotel. Breakfast was no good - they ran out of eggs and sausage, I waited 10 minutes and no more showed up even after being told there would be more. Easy to get to from the highway. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly.

I'm not a fan of Indian food, but the Indian restaurant right in the hotel seemed nice.

This is a hotel that is stuck in a time warp. The rooms are from somewhere in the 90's. The hotel had/has an overall smell to it. When we went down for our "included" breakfast the fun continued. We were down there around 8:30. The breakfast goes until 9:30. There was one lonely doughnut hanging out with all of his friends. There was not any hot foods unless you count the waffle maker that had run out of waffle mix. My wife and I did not see a breakfast host to even ask if there was anything else coming out. So we left and drove down to the 3rd Ward and had a great breakfast at Cafe Benelux on Broadway.

The desk staff was friendly, the rooms are small but fine. But, I'm not picky soul, but finding hair all over or bathroom when we arrived left me a little dubious. Then we made the mistake of going to their bar. It's a beautiful space, just lovely, but my $11 drink barely had alcohol in it and my spouse's was the same, then the desert we ordered, tiramisu, came out frozen so hard we could barely break off pieces. They did give us a discount on the item when we mentioned it, but they should have solved it or taken the whole amount off. When I'm paying $12 for a slice of cake I expect it to be at least good. This really, really wasn't, we felt ripped off for the drinks and the dessert, it soured or feeling on the place entirely. If you do go make sure to check out the views from the roof at night, it's lovely. We wanted to like this place but it's just a little too hard to do so.

The staff was great. I was in town for my sons brain surgery and the staff was awesome and extremely helpful and made us feel welcome. Was the hotel perfect? No. But neither is my house. The staff made us feel at home. The view was fantastic, breakfast was good and I did not feel overlooked like at bigger hotels. I will be back, I cant wait to see the changes they are making and if they are smart the will keep Ashley and Veronica ( I hope that was her name)and Adrian in the lounge.

This was a good place for us. My husband liked the gym and breakfast. I had a room that was upgraded for free, which the staff approved once I talked to the day shift. I travel a lot and was glad to see a working business center for free, where most hotels charge. We got there late and had to wait, I was actually wondering why I had to ask the staff 12 times before I got any service which is the only reason i had a less than great experience. That same man gave us a problem in the morning when we needed to get a cab. Otherwise nice. I would likely go back....just arrive early. Hehe.
