Ambassador Hotel Milwaukee, Trademark Collection by Wyndham in Milwaukee

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel in Milwaukee last night, which is advertised and priced as a four-star property. Unfortunately, the condition of our room did not reflect that standard at all.

While the staff was friendly and the restaurants were very good, the room itself was extremely disappointing. We booked a spa room and found visible mold around the spa tub, glitter on the couches and chairs, and a questionable white stain on the floor. The room had a musky odor with a noticeable cigarette smell. The carpet and furnishings were clearly very old and worn, and the bathroom was tiny and outdated.

At four-star pricing, this felt closer to motel-level accommodations. We were so uncomfortable with the cleanliness and overall condition that we left in the middle of the night.

We would appreciate the opportunity to speak with management directly about this experience, as the condition of the room did not meet the standard advertised or the price charged. We hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and works to address these issues.

The bed had not been made. It had makeup on the pillows and there was hair in the bed when we pulled the sheets back

The hotel needs work. I felt misled by the website. The rooms have zero amenities-- rust in soap, no decor, stains on furniture and no tv access unless you have an i phone to connect your apps. The website claimed the rooms were soundproof and they were anything but.
