Mövenpick Hotel in Samarkand is a very decent 4 star hotel which is located in the city Centre and nearby to a lot of historic places including the Amir Temur statue and the Boulevard with old trees and the Registan Square and other historic places

I have a great second stay at Mövenpick Samarkand. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. I tried also the spa this time, which is crystal clean and well maintained

Nearby restaurants, malls and also supermarket. A big room and very nice shower and toilet with bidet - very important facility for us. Hospitable room service staff and helpful security, who deserves a big tip

A special mention to the staff in the bar and restaurant, who provides exceptional service with warmth and professionalism. Their attentiveness and hospitality makes my dining experience even more memorable

I had a lovely stay here. The bed was super comfortable and the room had everything I needed. The lobby area is the main focus though. It is so thoughtfully curated. It's a stunning place. I'd come back!

It's about 2-3km by taxi to the main attractions, but the main road outside the hotel is very congested, making it time-consuming to get a ride. The hotel facilities are good, and the decor is very new

Very comfortable rooms, modern design. There was nothing to complain about. Cool swimming pool and saunas. They also offer massages at a very affordable price. Very good food at the restaurant, all we tried was delicious

Nice room and varied breakfast buffet. Great Spa area with pool, sauna and hamam. The aircon in our room unfortunately was quite loud, blasting at full force, and it wasn’t possible to adjust it or turn it down

However, the young lady I encountered when checking out was fantastic – very friendly and professional. Her name is Sevinch, and I hope everyone staying here gets to meet this kind front desk staff member

In the morning, you can see the distant snow-capped mountains from your room. I really love the bed here; it's soft, cozy, and the largest among the three hotels I stayed at during this trip

At the time, there was a Chinese tour group in the lobby, and it seemed someone was injured and needed assistance from the front desk, but they were quite unhelpful

I had a 90 minute spa treatment here and it was genuinely wonderful. Doli was amazing, very attentive, skilled, and made the whole session feel relaxing and therapeutic. I left feeling lighter and refreshed

Was a nice experience staying at the Medina hotel. It was conveniently located a few km from many famous sites and good restaurants, nice pool, and well maintained. Rooms were simple, but clean.

It's called Medina Hotel, so you might think it's inside Medina, but it's actually on the roadside. The hotel is a one-kilometer walk from Registan Square

First of all, there is the breakfast restaurant, which has a nice environment and the food is worthy of this small hotel. The swimming pool is filled with water and cleaned every day

I stayed here for one night while sightseeing in Samarkand. The amenities were excellent and the room was clean. The restaurant right in front of the hotel was also delicious

A wonderful place, everything is new, clean, and beautiful. We didn't get around to the pool. There are some good cafes and grocery stores nearby, and a liquor store is 1 km away.

The jacuzzi was connected to the pool so the entire area was cold water, with the pool water level too high - I think they were supposed to be filled separately and not kept at fully filled level

Nice big rooms and very good breakfast, location is convenient - around 10mins walk to Registan and Gur Emir. But the rest was not meeting expectations given the high price

I was so tired and just wanted to use the bathroom and go to sleep and he would ask me to wait an hour for his manager to come, and then lecture me about how things are done in hotels worldwide, as if I did not know, having stayed in hundreds of hotels myself… anyway, I figured he was just new and a bit awkward but there was no need for the condescending tone or to imply that we were going to leave...

The only thing missing is a bidet in the bathroom. The location is central, a few minute walk from everything you need to see in Samarkand. And a 15-minute drive from the train station

For improvement, the pool water was 19 degrees, so we couldn't use it. The Turkish bath also never heated up. But overall, the price and quality are in line

You can also take a taxi, which costs 100-150 rubles. The staff is very polite! They'll tell you everything you need to know and make sure you're comfortable. The breakfasts are quite good, and the cleaning is excellent

Super clean and huge rooms in the new wing. Location was great because of walking distance to restaurants at the gastronomy street despite being on a quiet side street. Not too far from attractions and train station

PROS -15min taxi from the airport, it was practical as we arrived in the middle of the night and were able to quickly check-in (download Yandex for cheap taxis) -great A/C and amazing WiFi (managed to stream flawlessly) -comfortable beds and even more comfortable cushions -great shower -2 complimentary bottles of water per day per room -close to Pub Street which has a bit of nightlife (5min walk) ...

Amazing service, spotless, very convenient. You are allowed to book 1 hr for the entire swimming pool for yourself. They also allowed us to check out late. Best stay in Samarkand

Just got back from Samarkand where we stayed at the WellFort Hotel for almost a week, and I honestly can't say enough good things about this place! We were traveling with my mom who uses a wheelchair, so I was pretty nervous about accessibility

We had a great time at Wellfort hotel. The room was spacious, clean, well-designed and very comfortable. Great breakfast with variety of dishes, friendly and helpful staff and good location. Highly recommended
