I really liked everything. Clean, comfortable, cozy. Breakfast was excellent.

A very spacious room with all the amenities, including a small balcony. Delicious breakfasts and helpful staff. The hotel is located in a nice area near University Boulevard, within walking distance of the Registan. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the spa.

The hotel has a great location on the main street, with several good restaurants and a nice dessert shop nearby. The hotel breakfast is also quite plentiful. Recommended.

A great option for a stay in Samarkand. The Registan is a 15-20-minute walk away. There's a cafe serving Samarkand pilaf next door.
The rooms are spacious and there's a spa area with a small pool, hammam, and sauna. However, the sauna and hammam weren't very hot.

I stayed in the King Suite, an impressively spacious room featuring a _real_ king-size bed and an expansive, luxurious-feeling bathroom. The room felt elegant and high-end, with thoughtful design elements such as a recessed ceiling adorned with a beautiful chandelier, ample outlets, good lighting, plush carpeting, and impeccable cleanliness throughout. The air conditioning worked flawlessly, maintaining a consistently comfortable temperature — even when the key card wasn’t inserted while I was out.

The bed was among the most comfortable I’ve encountered in Uzbekistan, outfitted with four large, fluffy pillows that added to the overall sense of luxury and restfulness. The bathroom included both a shower and a deep soaking tub, complemented by a generous supply of toiletries.

Service at the hotel was excellent. The staff were smart, responsive, and efficient in addressing any requests. Laundry service was handled promptly and professionally. They also accommodated special requests, such as refrigerating medication and storing luggage for multiple days.

The property features an on-site spa and an indoor pool. I booked a 60-minute massage, which was satisfactory.

Overall, Ametist Complex offers a refined and comfortable experience with excellent service and thoughtful amenities — an ideal choice for travelers seeking comfort and a touch of elegance in Samarkand.

I highly recommend this hotel for its convenient transportation. The surrounding environment is beautiful and suitable for strolling around. It is also convenient for dining, supermarkets, and banks.
