Sen Hidden Charm Hotel in Hanoi

A word of caution to anyone planning to rent here: stay away! This low-lying area is prone to deep flooding, and after just one rainstorm, it looks like the picture below. Residents' cars are completely submerged, causing significant damage, but there's no compensation for the losses. One time is one thing, but it's been the same twice and three times, with no solution in sight. They've only installed a flimsy flood barrier for show (water still leaks in, causing damage), but they haven't compensated residents at all!! The electrical system is underground, so every time it floods, residents have to spend money on car repairs and stay at another hotel for at least two more days before electricity and running water are restored. This is already a long story, but the ordeal continues. Just after Typhoon Bualoi, the basement flooded again, resulting in a power and water outage for a total of three days. As of today, October 4th, 2025, the water supply is still intermittent and there's no hot water. The important thing is that there is still NO COMPENSATION FOR RESIDENTS. Even electricity bills increase every month, peaking in October 2025 when the meter is replaced, but the contract doesn't record the old reading; the court calculates it based on 427 kWh, even though the house couldn't possibly have used that much electricity??? While the previous month, without a power outage, the reading was only 200 kWh?? This is nothing short of fraud, and the court management is irresponsible. Everyone should stay away from this place. I'm only mentioning the visible issues; there's more to come, so don't be foolish enough to get involved here!

My experience renting here was terrible. It flooded when it rained, and the flooding caused power and water outages for a whole week without any compensation or solutions, even though this was the only building in the entire area experiencing flooding and power/water outages. The owner was incompetent, and the manager was fickle. They promised compensation next month, then replaced the manager the very next month, passing the buck and no one taking responsibility. Service fees were expensive, and there was no security for vehicles, leading to theft and other problems. In short, avoid this place before it's too late.

TỆ TỆ CỰC KÌ TỆ…

The service here is terrible. It’s always flooded, with frequent power and water outages. They have no sense of responsibility toward the tenants.

This building is being rented out on a monthly basis, but the business is very disorganized. During the rainy season, the basement is flooded, but no solution is being found. Residents have to constantly relocate due to power and water outages. Rooms leak, and despite complaints for months, no action is being taken.

Collected the room and then called to collect more because of the mistake, but I don't know how fake it is

There are some scammers here, the first floor room is next to the place to go to the basement, the scammers use this room as an interview room and it seems that the staff and security here are familiar and colluding. with these scammers, the form is to interview students who are in need of a job and they pretend to be recruiting and choose this as the location for the interview, when the interview is done, they have to pay for the paperwork. When you come back, block it, the security guard looks really fake, be careful when you go up
