Pros:
· Excellent Location: The hotel is in a great area. It's near the HCM Mausoleum and the embassy district, which is quieter and less crowded than the Old Quarter, yet still very close (about 2km). We found it easily reachable by a short taxi ride or even a pleasant walk. A lot of major tourist sites were conveniently nearby.
· Comfortable & Complete Rooms: Our room was a good size with a big bathroom. The mattress was excellent—very firm and supportive. While the facilities could use some updating, the room had everything we needed and was cleaned thoroughly every day.
· Excellent Breakfast & Staff: The breakfast buffet had a fantastic variety and was consistently good. We especially appreciated that they offered some dishes prepared fresh per request. The standout feature, however, was the wonderfully enthusiastic and helpful staff. A special shout-out to Quin, Trang, and Shang at the front desk, and the two gentlemen at the breakfast service who always ensured we were well taken care of. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay.
Con to Note:
· Soundproofing: The only noticeable downside was that the rooms are not very soundproof. It was easy to hear noise from the hallway and adjacent rooms, which could be disruptive at times.
Quin personally took charge of organizing our excursion bookings and transportation, ensuring that everything was perfectly coordinated and tailored to our needs. Their dedication went above and beyond, even following up outside of working hours to confirm every detail, which allowed us to enjoy our activities with complete peace of mind. Thanks to her extraordinary commitment and attention to detail we were able to enjoy great experiences without worrying about logistics.
We recommend 20 Hotel not only for its facilities and location but also for the human quality of its team. Quin, in particular, made our stay even more special. We will definitely return!
The lights were a bit too heavy and bright, and the lamps had dimmers but they were locked. The safe had been left open with the lock on the latch so it was unusable. Only a few clothes hangers, not enough. The breakfast had some nice variety, it was okay. The diner room was a bit tight but not really crowded. Overall I would recommend
The best thing at the hotel is the staff. They are friendly and ready to help any time. I would like to say thank you Quin for her helping and caring.
If I return Hanoi I’ll stay there again.
