The room was spotless, which is amazing for the price. The location is excellent, and the breakfast was good too. Highly recommend! The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Extremely Disappointed & Unreasonable Service - Avoid At All Costs!
I booked this hotel via Trip.com for a stay starting on 4th March, but due to a system error, the reservation was incorrectly set to the previous day (same-day of my booking) when I confirmed the order. I immediately contacted Trip.com to request a date change or cancellation within 1 minute of placing the booking, explaining the accidental error clearly.
Despite Trip.com’s multiple attempts to negotiate on my behalf, the hotel staff refused all requests for adjustment or cancellation without any understanding mind. They showed zero flexibility, empathy or willingness to resolve the issue—even though I notified them instantly. In the end, I was forced to forfeit the full payment for two rooms with no recourse.
The hotel’s rigid adherence to policies (without any human decency) and refusal to accommodate an obvious, immediately reported booking error is appalling. I feel completely ripped off, and this experience has left an extremely bitter taste. I will never stay at this hotel again and strongly advise all travelers to steer clear of this unreasonable establishment—your money and peace of mind are not safe here.

The location is so close to many good restaurants and sightseeing places. The view of the 11th floor restaurant to the lake is so cool.

Location is ideal for many Indian restaurants, coffee shops and street shopping in the Old quarter.
The family room had 2 single bed and 1 double bed. Room and bathroom was clean.
Even though the staff didn't know English well, they did their best service.
When we left at 5 am to the airport, they packed bread jam and fruits for our breakfast.

Enjoyed my stay at Hanoi HM Boutique Hotel in Dec 2022 very much. Outstanding service provided by Lily, who went to great lengths in facilitating the pre-arrival hotel booking arrangements. Our airport pickup from and to the airport went flawlessly. The rooms were great and the daily buffet breakfast had a wide selection of dishes. Would definitely stay again if returning to Hanoi again.

This hotel is absolutely HORRIBLE. The best advice I can give is: Please do not ever book here. Breakfast consists of the cheapest sandwich available in the shop next door (priced at 1€), which is given to you to eat in your room - There is no restaurant in the hotel!!. Hotel staff is rude and dont speak any English - not even a word!!. The hotel is very dirty and uncomfortable. They use the reception to store motorbikes at night!! This hotel cannot be even compared to the lowest quality B&B in Europe.

Scam alert 🚨 We reached the hotel and they told us their prices on Agoda were wrong and asked to pay much more than what we’d already paid online otherwise they wouldn’t give us the room and asked us to cancel. After complaining and telling them that at least they had to cancel for us otherwise we would even lose the money we paid, they finally agreed to cancel but we didn’t get any updates from Agoda and they said we’d just have to wait a little. The next day we didn’t get any emails from Agoda, I checked the booking status and it showed completed. They did not even cancel our booking hoping that we would leave the city and pocket our money. We went back to the hotel and they were so embarrassed. Be careful booking this hotel might be a nightmare.

We enjoyed our three nights with HM Boutique Hotel. Whilst our check-in didn't go as smoothly due to plumbing issues they bent over backwards to make sure we were not put off by it. Ricky the Hotel Manager was very nice and couldn't do enough for us! The room was nice, bed was more on the firm side. Breakfast we felt was a little lacking. The quality of food was not at a boutique standard as the name suggests. We often had to request things which had run out. Tables were not cleared quick enough and had to wait. This is all compared to another stay in Hanoi on the same trip. Nice view from breakfast though.
