Reviews
Price is also affordable ~ it’s just nice to come with friends, family~ Hotel breakfast is also not bad~
The bed was clean and fresh, and housekeeping provided coffee and two bottles of water every day, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was okay overall, although the chicken dishes and boiled eggs weren’t quite to our taste.
One thing to note is that the hotel is located along a small street, so cars and Grab pickups can’t reach the entrance directly. Guests with luggage may need to walk a short distance. The view is mostly of nearby buildings or the alley, but it was still fine for us.
Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and grateful for the room upgrade and friendly service.
The location is right in the middle of a bustling downtown area, and being in a small alley isn't necessarily a drawback. However, if your room isn't on a high enough floor and has a window, you'll be staring directly at a wall, getting no sunlight or ventilation all day. Even if you force the window open, all you'll get is the exhaust fumes from nearby restaurants pouring into your small room, which is quite suffocating.
The facilities are also terrible. The slippers are plastic, broken, and stained. The duvet has unknown stains. The showerhead makes noise, the bathtub leaks, and there's a sewage smell that comes up, along with small flying insects from the drain. Because it's an old building in this area, I suspect the water pump isn't strong enough; the water turns cold after just two minutes, and you have to turn it off for a long time to get it hot again. It's like showering in a public university bathroom from fifteen years ago.
Other issues include, but are not limited to, the staff coming into our room to clean at around 8 AM while we two girls were still sleeping, startling us awake.
For a room like this in Vietnam, they charged over 1800 RMB for three days over New Year's. Considering the cost of living in Vietnam, I'm practically itching to ask Trip.com for an 800 RMB refund.
Great service
Tv was missing in my room
Very dirty windows
I booked a king size bed but it was 2 beds so I ended up in the "hole" in the middle of the night
