Bantique Hotel in Da Nang

Terrible staff attitude. Even though it's labeled as a premium room, everything is old and dilapidated. The door is broken, the toilet is filthy, and the AC barely works. The bathtub is disgusting, and the view of a nearby scrapyard makes the smell unbearable. The location is extremely far from the beach. This room is way overpriced for its quality—it feels like stepping back into 2008. A total nightmare

Steer clear. I arrived two nights after my check in date and let them know. They put me in apparently the worst room. The sink wouldn't drain, the shower wouldn't drain, I went 24 hours without showering just so they could figure it out. When I asked for another room they just checked me out and made me pay for 2 bottles of water the housekeeper left outside my door. I still have 5 days ok the booking. Don't come to these people, they didn't even attempt to help.

The internet speed was one megabyte per second or lower, and this was the case in all rooms.
Even sending a simple message in a messenger app was a real challenge.

In my room, the shower drain worked terribly. I reported it to the staff several times, but nothing was fixed.

It was very noisy, both because of other hotel guests and because of the staff during cleaning.

Due to the New Year period, I was paying almost fifty dollars per night, which absolutely does not match the level of service.

I strongly do not recommend this hotel. If you have any other option at all, it is better to consider it.

Terrible hotel, everything is old and decrepit, no breakfast, decent location, but the room is terrible... We were stressed when we had to spend the night there because all the hotels in the city were completely booked (due to the fireworks festival). Don't ever stay there. It's not a 4* hotel, only a 1* and nothing more.

The photos of the rooms on various websites are extremely misleading. The room we were in had wall paper coming off the walls in places and one part was torn. The furniture was old and shabby. The paintwork was shoddy and marked. The lifts in the hotel were in need of refurbishment, in fact the whole hotel was in need of modernisation. There was no safe in the room and we told reception several times. The kettle blew up on the second day and was never replaced. The drains in the bathroom smelt bad. But, you do get what you pay for and this hotel was very cheap. The bed was comfortable but you only get one small pillow. The air con worked well and the water was hot in the shower. We didn't have breakfast as we didn't think it would be worth paying for. The hotel is near lots of seafood restaurants within walking distance.
