Hue Riverside Boutique Resort & Spa in Hue

We stayed at Century Riverside Hue for four nights in late November 2025. The staff we wonderful, & the location was great. Sally Drake & Tony Favero

Clean and comfortable accommodation, staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool was lovely.
This is not in the centre of hue so required a taxi to go into the centre for food etc, this was easy to arrange and inexpensive

Very beautiful grounds. You're in the middle of a garden and a short bike ride or grab from the city center. When I was there the advertised gym was under construction (being used as a storage space) and the buffet breakfast was only available if the hotel had enough people. The food was a little bland but there was plenty of it. The staff is very kind and always helpful. Nice place to unwind.

Very good hotel a little outside the city, which allows you to relax in the greenery. The hotel lends bikes and kayaks which is a pleasant way to discover the region. The pool is magnificent!

A very cool hotel in terms of location and nature. Lots of butterflies, bugs, geckos, and almost no mosquitoes and no cockroaches at all. There is a large swimming pool, I really liked it. The room is interesting, pass-through, with huge doors to the garden, a cool shower. But the beds with spring mattresses, uncomfortable and creaky, need to be changed to springless. Above the beds there is a mosquito net (I did not use it). Change the mattresses to normal ones and it will be 5 out of 5.

A Beautiful Oasis
Well, I really enjoyed my stay at Hue Riverside Boutique & Spa. The grounds were maintained well and quite beautiful and the rooms clean and comfortable. The wifi was lightning fast, too. The breakfast buffet (included) had everything a person could want. And I ended up eating dinner at the resort restaurant both nights and was pleasantly satisfied. I thoroughly enjoyed the quiet peacefulness of this riverside oasis!

I find the air here very cool and fresh. The swimming pool is big and wide. The service is attentive and enthusiastic. The rooms are clean, tidy and the food is delicious. Many tourist attractions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A number of reviews have commented on the location of this resort. It is located beside the river, about 5km from Hue. At the time of our visit (late April 2024) there was road work on the last couple of km’s of the road before the resort. We were told this should be finished within the next few months. However we had drivers pick us up and drop us off without incident. We also saw other guests using taxis, and we had no problems getting Grab cars to collect us and take us back (for a total cost of less than US$10 for the 2 trips). The shuttle referred to on the hotel website is not currently operating, but we did not see access as an issue. As an upside of the location it was very peaceful at night (our previous stop had been at Hoi An where the river resort we stayed at in the centre had been quite noisy at night.) Some comments have also been made on the gardens being over grown and the resort being run down. We did not see it this way. The gardens are not formal – they include fruit trees which are being farmed for their fruit – but they were being actively maintained. The pool is very nice. (See photos) The room was comfortable and clean and tidy with excellent air conditioning. The bed was very hard and some more storage space in the room would be good. The staff were all friendly and very eager to help with things like organising transport and suggesting places for meals. The resort was not very busy at the time of our stay. As a result, while they had the breakfast buffet operating on our first morning (a weekend), on week days the routine was to collect a form from reception to select your breakfast and time, and drop it back to reception the night before – it was then served in the restaurant at the time chosen. This seemed to work well. We ate in the restaurant the first night, and the food was good, though we were the only people in the room. Most guests seem to opt to get transport into Hue-proper for dinner, where there are lots of great options for a meal. All in all a very pleasant, comfortable and quiet stay.
