Draha Halong Hotel - Serenity, Charm and Nature - Preferred by Western Travelers in Halong

What a beautiful hotel. It is everything and more than I had hoped! You may well need to book in advance during peak season. You won’t regret it!

Very helpful staff! Lady at the front desk helped us with dinner/drinks recommendations. She also helped us book a Halong Bay cruise including transfer. Breakfast was nice as well :) the area is not filled with tourists which can be a plus depending on where you've been before. Lots of local food by the water and loads of coffee bars as well.

Very nice little hotel. We got a free room upgrade so we were especially happy. The location is good, and you can rent a scooter directly from the hotel to drive around. It is clean and has everything you would need. I recoomend it to everyone

Price is very reasonable. The rooms and decor are a little outdated but still very nice. The beds are a little hard. King bed is actually 2 twins put together. Water for shower was great. Nice small balcony. A/C and heat worked great. There's an extra fan in the room if needed. Plants are everywhere which gives a nice vibe. Koi fish in front of hotel and also in the smoking room are also nice. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food in restaurant is good and affordable. They also have a nice wine bar and liquor selection and nice music to set the mood. Location is not far from the waterfront. There are plenty of cafes and other restaurants nearby. You need ask for an extra room key if you want one.

Great service from Anna! the rooms are nice and clean with a real tasty breakfast available.

Just note that at night, the area around is quite quiet, but not in an unsafe way. If you're looking for dinner options, the Bai Chay are would have more options.

The hotel was really nice and clean! I like that it’s situated in a very quiet neighborhood, but still near the convenience store where you could get your midnight craving fix 😅 The receptionist was really helpful and always offered to help with grabbing a taxi, getting breakfast, etc. They allowed early check-in which is a bonus!

Really helpful staff, very much appreciated it. Room was amazing, very comfortable bed. Only suggestion to the hotel is to provide a thinner pillow. Pillows are a bit too thick. Other than that, they helped us rent a moped and overall we would recommend it and stay again.
