The hotel is close to the Ha Long Bay wharf and the beach, which is convenient. There are also free bicycles. The front desk manager is enthusiastic and can communicate in simple Chinese and English. The buffet breakfast is also very good.

The front desk is staffed 24/7, and the service is warm and friendly. Check-in was a breeze, making for a really great stay. Definitely recommend it! It's also super close to the beach, just about a 15-minute walk at night.

A small hotel but it has everything you need. Swimming pool ,rooftop garden with sea view, entertainment stage, clean and spacious breakfast restaurant...
Staffs are very friendly, clean. Will recommend it to friends and family

We had a really great experience at the hotel. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet but aslo close to the beach clubs . The manager Thomas was incredible and oversaw every aspect of our stay personally which made the experience even more enjoyable. Would stay here again when in halong and would recommend.

Thomas the manager was very helpful, explaining and gave us the whereabouts everything are. Thomas himself cooked omelettes for breakfast just for us. He goes above and beyond to call his boss to help us with the confusing Ha Long Bay cruises. I would recommend anyone to stay at Lavender Hotel for their Vietnam experience.

Hotel in excellent condition and in a magnificent location, quiet area, but close to where all the activities are in Ha Long. The staff is splendid, being Thomas (the new manager) a great source of help both within the Hotel and activities to be carried out in Ha Long. Thanks to him, I was able to book a day cruise through the islands and it is probably the best activity I did in Vietnam.

Although the hotel was nice and clean, they didn't make the bed ever and they didn't inform me when I checked in that the restaurant was only open for breakfast and the bar was shut down.
