First of all, the name wasn't "Mountain View." I arrived early in the morning, but the name and photo were completely different, so I had a hard time finding it. The room was incredibly cold. Even turning on the heater didn't help much. I went for breakfast, but all they had was bread crumbs. I'm writing this review for the benefit of any Koreans who might be interested. If this is your first time in Sapa, choose a 4-star or higher hotel. Think of a 3-star hotel as a 1990s motel.

I stayed at Mountain View Hotel with my mom and sister for 2 nights, 3 days, and wished we could have stayed longer! The location was perfect, in the heart of Sapa but not in the middle of all the craziness, so you could actually relax and connect to the beautiful mountains the surround the town 💚 the hotel’s name does it justice as our room had incredible mountain views were I could practice Yoga in the mornings :) also the staff was so friendly and helpful! And the food was great, definitely recommend if you go to Sapa!

Use to be a nice place at beginning. Nowadays, being ruin as the host does not care much. Very noisy and poor choice of breakfast. The manager is so mean...,

Nice little place. Very noisy outside as there is a lot of construction goimg on across the road. This, thankfully, seems to stop about 9.30pm and resumes about 7.30am so you can sleep.
Views are spectacular and staff are very nice and helpful.

Great view from hotel and big rooms. Stayed here for one night with complimentary breakfast. Taxi can bring you here from the bus station. Only thing to work on is cleanliness when I was here in 2016 maybe they improved since! There’s a outdoor balcony on the first floor and watching the mountain with a cup of tea or coffee is mesmerizing and you can see time fly by

Great hotel! My second time staying here in 5 years. Beds are comfy, water is hot, breakfast buffet is yummy and the view is fantastic!

A nice hotel with great views (when there is no fog) Bed was comfortable and room was warm (in winter). Staff were friendly and helpful. Only downsides were... Hit water ran out too quickly during a shower, breakfast was pretty poor

Our room had bugs, no remote for ac - had to ask for it, no electricity in the morning, towels are very poor, shower hard to regulate, breakfast at 9 am was almost gone and in general choice of food was poor. The only upside was it has hot water and a nice view of the mountain. There are nicer hotels in town to stay at.
