A25 Hotel - 180 Nguyen Trai in Ho Chi Minh

For an affordable restaurant chain, it was really nice. I stayed in a slightly nicer room than their regular ones but for only $45/night plus tax it was worth it!
Got to enjoy the remaining festivities of the Tet Holiday, and it wasn't near anywhere too loud. The staff were extremely friendly abd accommodating, especially when my flight kept getting delayed abd they offered late checkout then refunded me the extra when I had to leave earlier due to a flight change. If the rest of the A25 hotels are like this, I will definitely stay here more when making my short weekend trips down while working in country.

No amenities. Such as gym or pool. The wifi signal super bad and unstable. Business traveller please be aware. The aircond in the room not cold

I liked the hotel's location (close to the main attractions) and the amenities in the room, as well as the way I was greeted and escorted to my room.

But the receptionist's attitude was disconcerting: one day, I sat down on a chair near the elevator and was immediately asked sternly what I was waiting for. I didn't know sitting in the lobby was prohibited.
When I was checking out, the reception staff started listing what I'd ordered from the minibar, even though I hadn't used it, as there are shops nearby where I could buy what I needed. So, this hotel doesn't refill the minibar and then demands payment for something that wasn't there anyway? Then put a list of what should be in the minibar next to it, so the guest can check that everything is there upon check-in.

Also, the double-glazed windows in the rooms are very weak, as you can hear the street very clearly, as if you were right there. I'm currently staying at a hotel in Hanoi, where you can't hear the street with the windows closed.

The breakfasts are good.

It's super close to Fanwu, and there are quite a few trendy clothing stores downstairs. It's a place where you can go to lively places without being too far away, but it's also quite quiet. The doorman and security guard provided excellent service.
