Madame Cuc 184 in Ho Chi Minh

Let’s start with the positives. Good location. Apart of that just problems. Upon arrival they tried to make me cancel booking. For which I would be charged from booking.com. They said they will refund me. I don’t think so. After decision to keep my original booking the put me to the worst room they have. Just over the reception. Super loud room and the picture is not even in the booking nor google. Then another problem when I was working in my room in mid day cleaning lady came and unlocked the room. So I would recommend this place for safe stay. Just if you are on tight budged

The hotel is not like the picture, the toilet is dirty and smelly. The pillows are moldy, the bed sheets are not changed. Overall bad. 1 star

First time I encountered this. They gave me a room without a window, without a refrigerator. I had to wait to check in. The room was a real dump, tired, all dirty. And yes, the TV has no antenna. This is ******* nuts, comrades.

I have never written a review before, this will be my first because I am very disappointed with this place. Check in was smooth, as we got to our rooms we were tired from our journey that we just fell asleep without inspecting the room. When we got up, again never thought anything as we just wanted to get food. When we got back, we had the lights on and the bedding caught our eye. It was very filthy to say the least, there was also a hair clip down the side of the bed which wasn’t ours which to us showed the bedding hadn’t been changed as you would see this when changing the bottom sheet. I went to reception to talk to someone about the state of the sheets and hair clip. The guy behind reception was arguing and had said why didn’t you check it before and I will get a cleaner to clean it tomorrow. I said we had checked in to a room that we have paid for, sure we should’ve checked it was clean but if you’re paying to stay at a hotel, you would expect to not sleep in someone else filth. He finally complied and striped the bed sheets, but while he was changing the sheets, with my help he was still arguing with us that we should have said something at check in. He then also told us he wasn’t able to give us a clean duvet cover and we argued this and said we cannot sleep with a dirty cover (this had black marks over it and was a slight yellow colour). Again he found a clean cover. He was about to leave the room without taking the furry hair clip with him. Then later on just when we thought nothing else could make us feel any more uncomfortable we saw someone’s left over lube down the side of the bed too… CLEARLY THIS ROOM WASN’T CLEANED PROPERLY!
Overall very disappointed with the stay here, if you’re paying for a hotel put your money somewhere they clean properly.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel and that was enough. The toilet was leaking water all over the bathroom and seemed to spill out after flushing, there was a lot of hair on the floor when we came in and the WiFi did not work properly in the room. When asked if we could be compensated they were not helpful and only offered a discount if we chose to stay longer which we did not want to do. I would recommend to stay anywhere else.
