Hotel L Odeon Phu My Hung in Ho Chi Minh

I loved staying near the backpacker district in Saigon. The hotels are affordable and close to everything. One day I needed to wash clothes, and a friend told me about Dan’s Wash & Stay at 185/10 Pham Ngu Lao. It’s a small, clean self-service laundry that’s open all day and night. Only 30K per load, and you can relax while waiting with Wi-Fi. A smart spot for anyone traveling light.

Best hotel in district 7 Ho Chi Minh. Rooms are classical and amazing. I booked the superior single room. Room was little small in size but it is perfect for 1 person. Staff is very good and helpful. Hotel location is very safe and convenient. Rooms are filled with all the modern amenities. Bathroom is very well designed. If you want to stay away from the hustle bustle of crowds it’s a perfect place for you. Room bathroom and bedding everything was perfectly clean.

Been 3.5 years since I visited the last time due to the pandemic. Everything is still as good as it has always been. Room is clean and seems newly renovated. Shower is hot and that's important because after a whole day of work a hot shower is a relief. Staff wears specialized uniforms now and is as polite as they have always been. No strange smell in the facilities which is important because I got a dog's nose and if you stay in VN long enough you will notice many hotels have a strange smell in the rooms and facilities. Overall I feel everything is more organized and neat.

I do hope they can change the water faucet in some of the rooms - its neck is far too short to cover the center of basin and the whole hand when you wash it. And more volume of water dispensed from the faucet is needed. The room's soundproofing could use a little upgrade as I could sometimes hear the water sounds from the next room, probably from the shower when someone was taking a shower.

Everything else fits the name "Boutique hotel" and I totally love it. They also let me check out late at 4PM without any additonal charge because I wasn't feeling too well and needed more rest. I really love this. Do consider tipping them a little as a token of gratitude for their kindness if you ever need a little more rest.

That's it. I love this hotel and will be coming back again, as I've always been. I'm a very picky and near-perfectionist person and I recommend you this hotel. I don't think you can find another hotel that offers the same value and quality at the same price in the Phu My Hung region.

After so long, ten over years, I have not visited Ho Chi Minh city. Upon recommendation by a friend to stay in district 7, I would happily recommend people to stay in district 7 rather than district 1.

The moment we checked in, we were impressed by the of service and the attention to details that the stuff provided. The rooms are spacious and equipped with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The linens are soft and luxurious and the rooms are impeccably clean and well maintained, which is a plus.

There are 2 shopping malls within walking distance. There is Crescent mall and Vivo city. The staff were so patient explaining to us the direction. Visited Crescent mall by the river side. It was so magnificent and beautiful 😍

Along the hotel that we stayed, there are restaurants, massage and KTV karaoke. Less crowded compared to my previous stay in district 1.

Finally, we have to mention the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment checked in to the moment we checked out, we felt well taken care of and attended to. The staff went out of their way ensure that we had a pleasant and memorable stay, and we truly appreciate their efforts.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights during our 3-week vacation in Vietnam. A lovely boutique hotel with very friendly and friendly staff who are willing to go the extra mile to assist. Rooms are very clean and breakfast comes with 1 hot dish and a good range of buffet. It is located in a very safe upscale neighborhood with lot of restaurants and shopping malls within walking distance. Will certainly come back whenever we visit Vietnam.

I discovered this hotel in November, 2015. It exceeded all my expectations. The hotel staff and owners make you feel very welcome. They help with suggestions about food, tours and transportation. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The beds are comfortable. The Air Conditioning is excellent. The area is quiet and safe. Plenty of hot water, too. Breakfast buffet is varied and filling. Hotel can also arrange airport pickup. There are many restaurants and two shopping malls within walking distance. It is a good base for operations. It is about 20 minutes from District 1 tourist attractions but Grab taxi is less around 80K dong or less. The City View Express bus is 18K dong and the 102 city bus is 6K dong. If you like a quiet, pieceful and safe area after a day of touring you will not be disappointed. I have returned seven times.

The rooms are really comfortable and the breakfast is good and the rooms spacious enough. The only big downside, for me, is the gym. It's tiny with no free welghts and no place on the floor to do anything bodyweight or stretching.

This hotel is not my first choice. Due to some miscommunication, my regular hotel did not keep a room for me. Tired and desperate, no time to read reviews or do research I just chance upon Hotel L Odeon. Cheaper than my regular hotel I am very happy to make this discovery. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For the price I would conclude that the breakfast is pretty good (at least better than the previous hotel. From now on this will be my new regular hotel whenever I visit Saigon.
