The Light 4 Hotel in Nha Trang

Although we did not stay at the hotel, which I'm sure is fine, but the standard of service we had at the restaurant was not good at all. We arrived and were seated but the staff were shocked to know that we weren't Russian and it took them a while to find an English menu (approx 10 minutes). That I completely understand because after all we were in foreign country. Once there was a member of staff that understood our order (or so I thought) myself and my wife ordered 2 of the same dish but only one came out. We asked but nothing came about. We then decided to go but it took us about 15/20 minutes for us just to get the attention of the staff who were down the far end talking to each other and serving Russian families. I got the impression that because we weren't Russian we were sort of forgotten about. Again, I'm sure that the hotel is nice and to be fair the food was rather tasty (6/10) but I wouldn't go back there again.

Visited the restaurant, whose entrance looks very welcoming and stylish. However, I was extremely disappointed with the service and quality of food. I ordered a steak and asked for the maximum level of doneness, because this requirement is described in the menu. In fact brought a bloody and rubbery steak. Ordered a soda - it's brought a dirty glass with remnants of lipstick!!! Fortunate that the soda was still in the tin and pour we did not. On the request to bring salt and pepper, said the soy sauce and some mixture of spices... well, lipstick was the last "straw" and that our visit to this restaurant ended.

Very noisy. Full of chinese. Breakfast not good at all. The personnal does not understand english. Lift doesn't work. Swimming pool too close to the street. The kitchen close to early. No snack in the fridge. I claim for my passport before departure and i have had to pay my room in advance. No bus to go to airport and from airport to hotel. And expensive.

Buffet style, fresh mixed seafood, oriental, meat or chicken, fresh assorted garden salads with many different salat dressing, good choice and nicely presented and self service. After six nights coming for dinner with my Vife I realised that most of the staff need customer service training and English course to be able to provide a basic level of service in hospitality Industry. Hotel is rated as four (4) star 🌟 . It doesn't deserve no more then
two ( 2 ) stars 🌟. As soon as you arrive at the restaurant you are not noticed by the staff, when they come to your table they do not speak English ( in Six nights I found only two restaurant floor staff speak a little bit English).Buffet style food service staff ( lady in charge of payment is very unprofessional, customer service under zero ( 0 ). I found out later that she is family related to the owner of the hotel, she should not be there at all. Very arrogant, self exaggerated, asking some questions not related to her job description and very much unfriendly person. Most of the time she is watching customers and I think counting every single food they are taking even you are paying a good price for it.
Restaurant floor staff is very young, inexperienced, hosptality and customer service below average.

As we are staying for two months in Nha Trang only a few hotels down the road we are passing The Light hotel many time during the day. Reading the review of other guests and they are leaving very much unhappy 😞 feedback. Hotel management should pay a huge attention to their customers complains and tourist agencies that offering service to this hotel as well. I hope that this review will wake up Hotel Management.
Certainly i would not will be coming back any more and would not recommend this hotel as
four star 🌟.
