This hotel is well situated near monuments and restaurants. Unfortunately, this hotel has poor maintenance. They couldn't/wouldn't fix the air conditioning. People had to change keys/rooms because the lock mechanism wasn't working. Our room was on the main street. There was wind outside, but the only way we could feel it was to prop open the door of our room. The staff was not helpful.

The room was in an annex, away from the main building. It was located on the first floor above the breakfast and pizza restaurant there is no lift to the first floor, so you have to use the stairs. We stayed at this hotel before and after our Valbona-Theth hike. They let us store our luggage there, which was nice. We stayed in two different rooms. The first one was really nice, but the AC was not working. The bathroom in the second room could have used some repairs, and had a leaky sink. However, the AC in that room was working. The location was great!

We had amazing week, very clean rooms, tasty breakfast and kind service. One thing that we should highlight is the temperature of rooms, really warm in this cold weather. In the center of the city, close to everything. Definitely coming back.

Alis Hotel was a great place to stay! The location is perfect—right in the center of Shkodër but still peaceful and quiet. The perfect place to spend the night before and after hiking in the mountains. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and spacious as well as clean. Above expectations. They are amazing hotel staff. Big rooms, huge bed, private parking. The staff is superior, caring, helpful and supportive.
