The shower was often a trickle of water and temperature control was poor. No glasses or cups were available in the room, and no tea or coffee making facilities. The Internet was very slow and unusable at times

So if you’re allergic or intolerant you have a problem. Poor cocktail menu, no Negroni’s!!! Nice pool in basement

The hotel is located in a very nice area, just a short walk from lively, covered streets filled with shops and restaurants. It's a great spot if you enjoy exploring local life and want to be close to the action

Room 218 for us had all that was needed for a comfortable overnight stop for a coach group. wifi, clean, roomy, 1 chair, mini-bar, kettle & coffee-making gear. Room 102 overlooks laneway and backyards of homes

Unfortunately the air con was set for winter at 24 degrees and, despite requests to staff, could not be lowered. Buffet breakfast was the poorest of anywhere we had stayed in the Balkans

However, the breakfast was unfortunately below our expectations. The variety and quality were lacking, and it felt insufficient, especially for a hotel that claims to be five-star

Rooms perfect. Service perfect. Clean, perfect. Location perfect. The thing I didn't like is that the pool didn't have hot water, the jacuzzi also didn't. Otherwise, very good

Coming from MHI, the Grand Europa Hotel offered a unique & classic atmosphere and a polished look throughout the property which we liked a lot The rooms were clean, and the staff were warm, professional, and very friendly

It was also a bit noisy, but the Shkodra Carnival was happening in the park right in front of the hotel, so that’s completely understandable. On a normal day, I’m sure it would be perfectly fine

We’ve stayed here three times while traveling from London, and it is truly my favourite hotel. I travel often with my family, and we have consistently had the best experience every single time

The bathroom was especially spacious, which I really appreciated. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. Having parking available is also a big plus

They go above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, and valued. Whenever we visit Albania, this is the only hotel where we feel completely comfortable and safe staying

Excellent hotel right in the hub of the city. We used the indoor pool after a hot bike ride - very refreshing - great spa staff member. Hotel stored our luggage for 3 days at no charge after check out

The hotel is right at the intersection of the pedestrian street, which is great. It felt good to walk around the pedestrian street after breakfast. I felt very comfortable watching people coming and going

Breakfast is included and the service personnel is very accommodating. There is a pool and SPA that we didn’t attend

Very convenient whilst we travelled to Komani Lake for 3 nights. Good array of sport and English speaking news channels. Overall very happy with this hotel

It has a fairytale charm to it. The hotel is spread across a beautiful field, with an extremely large swimming pool, separate kid's pool and playgrounds and green spaces scattered around the grounds

Really friendly staff, an excellent and exceptionally well maintained pool area and a buffet you really have to try, if would like to taste some traditional food from the region

The double glazing on the windows overlooking the swimming pool is very welcome to stop the noise from guests and music

Very 80s vibe. Pools on october were closed and nasty green. Breakfast was medium , and the whole Hotel had the dining room's smell...

An oasis right in the middle of nowhere of Albania. You wouldn’t expect such a nice hotel/camping area when you take off the bumpy main road and follow a not so trustworthy road to the resort

The restaurants serve quality food and our family were treated with care and attention from beginning till end. If you are driving through this part of the world, don't hesitate to stay here

The pool is large and there is room for everyone. The water is nice and warm (June), and after 3 days of hiking it is extra nice to take a dip in😊

We stoped only to eat lunch, the food was very tasty very large portions, and the service was the highest we ever had, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcom and even went out to buy us candels to celebrate birhday for our son

Our stay at Kompleksi Arifi in Shkoder was just on point! We had the comfiest beds, a spacious room, fast wifi connection, a beautiful view from our balcony, a perfectly cooked breakfast every morning and the friendliest of staff! They helped whenever we needed anything, and for that we would like to say a massive thank you 🙏 Proper Albanian 🇦🇱 hospitality Also really cool location with many bars...

We spent one night at Hotel Shkodra L and were very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from the center, which is very central, and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating at all times

The room was massive to my surprise and meticulous! So so clean and comfortable. There’s even a kitchen in the room! The Breakfast is 10/10 and he even asks what time we want the breakfast to be prepared

Seems to be a condo repurposed. Close to the Theth bus stop, off the road near the restaurants in the Old Town, good breakfast very clean and modern. Not a lot of personal touch but a very good deal

Good location near the main road for Montenegro and close to Scadar lake, very kind owner, available safe private parking. Very interesting rooms, each one is different, decorated with special lights.

We arrived during the night and stayed until the morning. We found a very clean room, with a big shower and bathroom, nice owners. The quality-price relationship is really good.

The host is really friendly ,but the problem that I've got is that the place is not the most clean place I've ever seen , all dirty. But over all 3/5

Best value for the money in Shkodër

The hotelroom was very big, with a very nice bathroom. The hotel was a bit further from the center, but still close enough to walk there (20 minutes).

Staff were extremely helpful. Most spoke fluent Italian.

Very nice location just outside of town of Skhodra. Rooms are good and comfortable , dinner and breakfast were nice too. Super friendly staff who can arrange any request you have such as transportation to Theth/Valbonë

They even exchanged our last LEK money into euro when checking out

one of best hostels i ever bin before, the staff are so great and hulpfull. the livingroom is so great specialy with the beerdude (barman) and the hostel helps also local people and animals. you really want to stay here

They have tons of advices where to go and what to do and they are not shy to take you personaly to show you their favorite places in Shkodra. Look no further, this is a place to be!

Breakfast looked great and I would always go back there when I am in Shkodra

The primary reason we chose the hostel was for the assistance they offer in organising the hike and accomodation at guesthouses, however we realised if we had done more research we could have arranged this ourselves and probably found cheaper options

The plugs for charging were only accessible from the bottom bunk, though

I stayed with friends on two nights, one before the Valbona-Theth hike and one after. The dorm rooms we stayed in were quite small and the bunk beds were very rocky and felt unsafe

They organize everything for you, transport by bus and ferry and accommodation in both Theth and Valbonna. One of the best experiences I've had in my life. They even helped me with what hostel to stay at in Tirana

We spent one night here our first night in Albania. The owner was great at communicating with me in South Africa before we left home and he booked all our bus and ferry tickets for the alps

They gave us recommendations to eat and what to see in Shkoder, provided us breakfast in the mornings, helped us with bike rentals at the hostel and provided a lively experience every night which made meeting new people easy

I had a nice room with air conditioning close to the city centre that was very good value for money. David and his family are wonderful hosts and I highly recomend a stay here!

We got a welcome drink at arrival. Everything was arranged nicely. Clean and nice bedroom. And we had a place to park our car.
