Premium Beach Hotel in Golem

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I do agree with previous comments that it was not completely 5 star compared to European standards, but that took nothing away from the excellent time we had. The hotel itself is very well decorated, clean and tidy. The food was ok and seemed to have lots of choice. However the thing that made this hotel for us was the staff. We were so well looked after by Sergio and his team. The young people in the restaurant were really nice and everyone was friendly. We were upgraded to a sea view room and also were allowed a late check out with no extra cost. The hotel was quite quiet, but still, I have never known a hotel not to charge extra where they could have. It was really impressive and made us feel very well looked after. The spa at the hotel was also excellent. Staffed by beautiful Balinese ladies, my husband and I had 2 wonderful treatments which were very well priced (compared to what you would pay in England). The spa was spotless too, with a great indoor pool/jacuzzi, steam and sauna. I can highly recommend this hotel for a nice break and have nothing negative to say at all.

Really good customer care from all the staff. In particular the hospitality restaurant staff who were very happy to take extra care of us under Chef Ergons helm. Nothing was too much trouble. We are a group of 8 and there was always a table reserved for us.

Rooms needed serious improving, but didn't spend a lot of time in the room, the lobby and dining areas were nice. Food was excellent, although hamburgers during lunch would have been a bonus. All-inclusive drinks were only coffee, beer, wine, and basic mixers...nothing that required serious bartending skills. The boardwalk right outside the hotel went almost 2 miles in one direction and 1 mile in the other directions, lots of bars and other dining options and tons of stuff for kids to do. Beach area was nice but you had to mark your spot by 8am.

Everything was very nice.We enjoyed our stay the service was good and lovely,10 out of 10 stay.We highly suggest this hotel if you want a good vacantions with your family

A lovely hotel with stunning views. The Turkish cuisine was excellent—especially the desserts! The SPA facilities were beautiful and relaxing. Overall, I had a fantastic stay.

We had a wonderful family vacation at this 5-star hotel. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. We especially loved the pool area and kids activities , while we enjoyed the spa and fine dining. The location was great, close to attractions and with beautiful views. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable stay—we’d definitely come back!

Friendly welcome at check in and rooms were ready early. Good size room but small bathroom with shower over bath. If I had realise earlier that some rooms had walk in shower and no bath I would have asked to move. Balcony looking out to road but no chairs. Large bottle of water in room was welcome. We went into lunch and it was all we had feared all inclusive would mean. People everywhere with plates piled high and nowhere to sit. Staff just watched the chaos and gave no direction. We later discovered that if you didn't mind carrying your plate of food down some steps there were tables in more pleasant areas and we never ate in the buffet room again. There was always a good selection of dishes but food was often not very warm. All inclusive drinks only served in two outdoor bars but once you had your drinks no one seemed to mind where you sat to drink them. Receiving what appeared to be half a pint of white wine in a plastic tumbler was a bit of a shock at first but I soon got used to it. Hotel is in good beach front location, large beach with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. However it suffered from usual problem of people putting towels on the beds and not removing them when leaving. There is a promenade between the hotels and the beach if you want a walk. It seemed to go for miles in each direction. There are some souvenir stalls, beach shops, bars etc. The town of Durres is worth visiting and can be reached by taxi. I understand there is also a bus but we didn't try it. The hotel was a good place for a relaxing couple of days.

Overall, this was a stay that reminded me of what true hospitality can be—effortless, polished, and memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to return, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone looking for a place that understands and delivers luxury without needing to shout about it.
