Poda Boutique Hotel in Ksamil

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel during peak season and had an amazing experience! The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable, but what truly made our stay so special was the staff especially Tana.

Tana went above and beyond every single day – always warm, friendly, and ready with the best restaurant recommendations. She answered all of our questions and requests with genuine care and made us feel so welcome. She really set the vibe for our whole trip. Aziz at the beach club was also fantastic, helping us navigate the beach chairs and making sure we were comfortable.

And we can’t say enough about Florella, Dori, and the entire team at Poda Restaurant – the food was the best we had in town, and the service was just as impressive.

The location cannot be beat – it’s literally 10 steps from your room to the beach. Because it was peak season, the hotel and restaurant were very busy, definitely book early to avoid missing out!

Five nights flew by, and we left already wanting to come back. Highly recommend!

I have traveled to many places over the years, but I can say with complete certainty that Poda Boutique Hotel in Ksamil, Albania, is unlike anything I have ever experienced. This is not just a hotel. It is a home, a family, and a memory that will stay with me for the rest of my life. From the very first moment we arrived, something felt different. The warmth was immediate and genuine. The staff didn’t just welcome us as guests; they welcomed us as people. They listened to us, saw us as individuals, and made every single member of my family feel valued and cared for. That kind of hospitality cannot be trained. It comes from the heart, and at Poda, it was present in every single interaction. The setting is simply breathtaking. The location is the best in Ksamil, and I say this without hesitation. The beach, the views, the surroundings, all of it exceeded our expectations in ways we hadn’t even thought to hope for. The rooms were immaculate and first-class, the cleanliness was flawless throughout, and the food was absolutely outstanding. Every detail, in every area, was far beyond what we had imagined. We felt completely at ease. Relaxed. At home. There was no pretense, no distance, just genuine warmth and a feeling that we truly mattered. I have never left a place feeling so deeply appreciated. And then there are the people. The remarkable, wonderful people who made this trip what it was. Nico and Enea: our restaurant servers brought a joy to every meal that went far beyond simply taking orders. They were attentive, cheerful, and genuinely present. Dining felt like sitting down with friends, and because of them, every meal became one of the highlights of our stay. Tana and Nebi at reception were the first faces to welcome us and among the last we said goodbye to, and that goodbye was genuinely hard. They handled everything with grace, warmth, and a smile that made us feel, from day one, that we were in good hands. They remembered the small things, and that made all the difference. Donald in the kitchen: what can we say? The food was extraordinary. Every dish was prepared with care and craft, and you could taste the love in it. Donald’s cooking was not just nourishment; it was one of the most memorable parts of our entire trip. Mariglen, who crafted our cocktails and brought his wonderful energy to the beach: thank you for the laughter, the creativity, and the moments of pure joy. Every cocktail felt like it was made just for us. Aziz, our beach guardian: calm, kind, always there when you needed him and never intrusive when you didn’t. We had a wonderful family stay at Poda Boutique Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spotless and comfortable, and the restaurant is excellent. A special thanks to Tana and Enea, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and always available to make sure everything went perfectly. Highly recommended!

I only used the lounge bed with hammock which was expensive, 50 euro for the day but it fit all 3 of us and it felt luxurious so well worth it. Our waiter was lovely as well. The drinks did seem a little watered down. Unfortunately my phone fell into the water in between the gap of the hammock and bed which was my fault of course but I would recommend that they fill that gap in with more netting in future to prevent this from happening to others.

We had a great stay at Poda Boutique Hotel. The property is beautiful, the views are beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and the lunch/dinner food was ok. The beach chairs are very comfortable. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely return.

This hotel was fantastic! The moment we landed from the ferry from Corfu- Tana was there to help us get a taxi to the hotel. As soon as we walked in, she showed us the hotel and our room and helped us with our luggage’s. Told us a place to eat lunch. They reserved seats at the beach for us- two lounge chairs. Her sister was the server the first night which happened to be my birthday and they made it extra special!!! They decorated the table and made me feel so special!! The breakfast buffet was perfect! The dinner you had 6 different options each night to choice from and it was filling and delicious!! Tana and her sister definitely made my stay perfect! We cannot wait to come back visit again and stay here! My only complaint would be the noise level at night as the disco plays till midnight. I was fine because I had headphones on. But maybe need a room facing not the ocean then. But thank you again Poda hotel!!

From the moment we arrived, we felt extremely welcome. A special mention goes to Tanna, who was always incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive – she truly made us feel at home. Her sister in the restaurant was also very warm and made sure every wish was taken care of.

The rooms were outstanding: very spacious, spotless, modern, and with a stunning sea view. Our room even had a jacuzzi, which made the stay extra special. The room service was excellent and always reliable.

The pool area was fantastic – clean, well-maintained, and the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Breakfast was another highlight: a huge selection of fresh and delicious options, with something for everyone. It was the perfect way to start the day. The waiters were always friendly, attentive, and professional.

The location of the hotel is also ideal – peaceful, yet close enough to everything you might need.

All in all, it was a perfect stay – from the spacious rooms with jacuzzi and sea view, to the pool, breakfast, and the warm hospitality. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this hotel to everyone!

I spent two nights at the Poda Boutique Hotel and had a fantastic time. The rooms are super modern, clean, and incredibly comfortable. I wanted to lie at the beach for two days, and this was a perfect location. As a hotel guest, you get free access to their beach club and day beds. You also get a really great breakfast spread in the morning.

Tana, the front desk manager, was absolutely incredible. So helpful and kind- from the moment I arrived, they helped me get situated, recommended great restaurants, and helped arrange my taxi to get back to the ferry the next day. She is the star of the hotel and made my stay fantastic.

Ksamil is a beautiful beach town, but like many of the Greek Islands, it is also a party town and tourist destination, so at night, you can hear the music from the clubs on the water. This didn't bother me, and it was pretty muffled from my hotel room and seemed to be done at 11:30/midnight- but I just wanted to name that- but most people coming to Ksamil and wanting to stay right on the water can't do better than Poda.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The property was clean, the food was consistently good, and the entire staff was warm and friendly. One team member in particular, Tana, truly stood out. She went above and beyond her call of duty every single day.

Every morning, Tana would check in with us, asking how the rest of our day went after her shift ended. She always had a smile on her face and offered helpful recommendations on places to eat and visit. Her genuine care and attention made us feel so welcomed and cared for. Honestly, she deserves a raise!

The only slight downside was that the hotel is located across the street from some bars, and the music at night was a bit louder than we would’ve liked. Still, this didn’t take away from the overall experience. The hotel was a beautiful choice, and we’re truly glad we stayed here. Highly recommended!
