Nice accommodation in the middle of nature.

The place is simple, no frills. The food is delicious, there is a transfer from the morning to the ski lift (sometimes).

It’s very cozy and close enough to the ski lift, although the climb up the mountain in the morning is tiring.

Great place to stay. Close to the ski slope. In the summer there were problems with wifi. Lived for 11,000 drams

1. The hotel is in a great location with a view of the mountains. 2. The hotel staff cannot speak fluent English. 3. The facilities are average and no bottled water is provided. You have to drive yourself to this hotel, otherwise it is difficult to get there.

Good location, a playground in front of the hotel, designed for recreation and children, staff, cleanliness, calm atmosphere. Breakfast is good (buffet), filling, tasty. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a wonderful stay for two nights at alpina! Big thanks to the two lovely ladies both named as same at the reception — always so kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything we needed. Also, a huge shoutout to the chef who went out of his way to help my sister when she accidentally passed out — we truly appreciate the care and support. We stayed at the property in April 2025. It is located close to the ski resort, and the overall compound is excellent, with plenty of amenities available. The staff was very supportive, and the breakfast was decent. Area of Improvement: Parking is not available near the reception area, which made luggage transfer a bit inconvenient.

Everything was normal, but if the arcade closes at 11:00, why did they take the billiards cues at 10:00 and not give them back?

A great place for an affordable and complete vacation. I can't say high-class about the rooms and the building, but of course this is not a 5-star hotel either. However, the service, friendly approach and prices are justified. The food is fresh and tasty. What else do you need for complete rest?

The rooms are comfortable, but I would put a nightstand in the bathroom, otherwise there’s nowhere to put things when you go to shower =) The hosts made us happy, they were always ready to help us, bed linen and towels in the room were changed upon request! We were satisfied!

We didn't stay there,we only use their restaurant. Staff were so friendly and it was very late when we reached there but they were so patient and prepared everything. It was so yummy and the quantity was heavy.

We had an amazing stay at Kareno, the rooms are cozy, warm, and the food was great!! Also the guys were so nice to throw a huge party for the new year, invited us for drinks and snacks - great people that made sure we are having a very pleasant stay. Definitely recommend it and would love to stay here again

What a lovely host we have. The cabin is owned by an armenian family who is trying their best to accommodate your needs and give you the maximum comfort of your stay. Rooms are very spaceous and clean. They have prepared our fantastic breakfast and dinner at a very reasonable price, evern more than what you pay for! Location is excellent, adjacent to the ski ropeway. Highly recommended!

My wife and I stayed here in June and it was an amazing experience. The premises is full of trees and is tranquil. The staff is pleasant and hospitable. The rooms are clean and well furnished. And the food was delectable! Tsaghkatun is a magical and quaint place to spend your vacation. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the winter.

The hotel is located close to the cable car - about 15 minutes on foot. Not suitable for those who come to ski - there is no place to dry clothes or leave equipment. Rather, it is for families who come to relax for the weekend. They smoke everywhere, it is impossible to hide from the smoke even in your room.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights. It was a hassle free experience. Staff are very accommodating. Hamlet the owner is kind enough to give us a discount in order for us to stay in 1 room for the whole stay instead of transferring to their other room. Good location between a city center and a rope way. A view to surrounding hills. Less than one kilometer to supermarkets and ATMs. Skiing surprisingly good despite absence of recent snowfalls due to a few skiers :-) Large villa with 5 bedrooms is good for 10 persons, not for 13. Only one bedroom with its own bathroom, others share one bathroom with two bedrooms. Order additional beds for children beforehand...
